Depends. I have missed and seen the taillights disappearing around the corner. Equally it has also been held. However I would err on the side of caution. Do not expect it to be held if running late. It is not the last connection of the day.
That in itself is a big ask! Thanks, Would be a pain for us if we missed as we are going to Maryport and back assuming the 37s play ball
Surely we only need IET or HST not both (plus maybe turbos up the Cotswold Line)?I have got them but not the time to write them up. There are an awful lot of them.
Only minor changes to the Chiltern loco-hauled services this time, and the "midday PAD" is unchanged.

I always thought the 444/450 combos always worked on a ad-hoc basis?I am in the process of getting the 444/450 diagrams on the Portsmouth Direct Line, people always ask for those so I should be able to get them if you want!
I always thought the 444/450 combos always worked on a ad-hoc basis?
Not really rare if it runs everyday though.I also have a non WofE line 159 diagram if you want it?
2221 Basingstoke - Portsmouth Harbour 2339 (via Fareham)
Quite rare to see a 159 off of Salisbury line duties!

No. For example the 1745 to Havant is always a 444. The 1815 to Fratton is always a 450.
That service made it a hell of a lot easier to get Redbridge and Millbrook! You also have:
2B91 1638 Winchester to Totton (which has an advantage of being standard class only )
Mind if I add this to the Turbo diagrams around Bristol thread? I made it on here, will credit you of course.Initial class 166 Weymouth workings:-

I believe that has already been discussedIsn't the 06:02 service the one which normally picks up the SWR 158 from Salisbury to take it to Westbury/Bristol?
That isn't the point of this thread. it is supposed to be about unusual workings. 444s and 450s are staple fare on the SWR network and have been for about 10 years now.I am in the process of getting the 444/450 diagrams on the Portsmouth Direct Line, people always ask for those so I should be able to get them if you want!
