That is, stations that were built as terminals and still fulfill only that function. For example Ilkley doesn't count because the line used to go through. Manchester Piccadilly doesn't count because it has had through platforms added. Bradford Interchange doesn't count because almost nothing terminates there.

Bradford Forster Square
Stranraer Harbour
Whitby
North Berwick

Going to be a lot of coastal stations in this one I think........

I was going to say Paignton, but I remembered the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway next door. As for another terminal station-but not a terminal station, how about Severn Beach, as the line used to continue north?

Paddington does have through platforms though in the shape of the H&C line.

Norwich has through trains that reverse there (e.g. London > Gt Yarmouth), so it's out.

Gosh, I feel like some kind of school teacher marking people's work!

do new stations such as Ebbw Vale Parkway count? It may not be a new line, but it's been a terminus since it was built.

My map shows trains used to continue through Rhymney onto a "heads of the Valleys" line.

Re my Bournemouth suggestion, I've never been anywhere near there, so a random guess. I was aware of the heads of the valley line, but not where it went etc, and I am at work. There are a lot of repeat stations coming up, does it take that long to read a page and a half before posting?

OK, along with everyone else's contributions, that must be Scotland and Northern England dealt with. Any more further south?

I disagree. The FCC platforms are a completely separate station, and are owned by a different company (Network Rail) than the main station (HS1).

Sorry Sir, it is official - the station is split into 2 not three.

Thameslink, EMT & HS1 are classed as St Pancras Domestic (managed by Network Rail). However the other station St Pancras International is only for Eurostar and is Managed by Eurostar.

You are not correct and I say this as someone employed there by Network Rail.
The subsurface station is owned and managed by Network Rail.
The Eurostar platforms and departure lounge (i.e. anything past the check-in gates) are managed by them, although the infrastructure of the station itself is looked after by Network Rail, the rest is *only* managed by Network Rail but all of those areas are owned by HS1.
