Saw a 54 plate B7TL in the new livery. Didn’t think they’d be painting these or at least they’d finish the newer buses first before moving on to them.

You know exactly what they mean....

If it was 32580 it was done a few months back.

Didn’t think they would have started the B7TLs given there are many E300s, E200s and E400s that are younger to be done. Although I’ve noticed they’re doing the B7RLEs too. I think the Wright stock suit the livery the best. They look very smart.

On a separate note - I noticed only 1 Airport E200MMC on show today at Caledonia depot. They were all in a big line the other day. Are they in for repaint or are starting to transfer now?

The 18 now has Next Stop Announcements but it's very sporadic as to what stop is next.

It it seems to only give you the bigger stops such as Bridgeton Cross, Dalmarnock Station for Emirates Arena and Celtic Park, Rutherglen Tesco and so on.

It sounds like the same voice that used to do the SPT Subway before it went back to the drivers announcing the stations.

Unsubstantiated comments are that they are to be upseated and repainted for use on X3 Maesteg - Port Talbot and X11 Carmarthen - Swansea

Noticed that on the 75 , id thought it had switched off. Went quiet from Bedford lane and Toryglen Asda. Wonder if it works on all routes?

Yes also noticed this on the 75 as well at the Milton end it only verbally announced Saracen Cross and then once into town Cowcaddens and Renfield Street where i had to alight so i assume it must some of the more "important" stops if you will.

There will be major changes in Glasgow and Lanarkshire after the school holiday timetables. Anyone heard anything?

Not 100%, However with Ravenscraig master plan approved by North Lanarkshire Council, there is plenty of new opportunities for new routes

Only thing I have heard in terms of cuts is 266 - frequency change

not much in terms of Lanarkshire needing cut to be honest.

Still strong rumours of first returning to Carluke but that's all it seems to be.

It should be noted that the 61 and 241 are now operating a reduced frequency due to the school holidays so it might be that they will operate a reduced frequency maybe on Saturdays

The rumour is the 266 will no longer go to shotts.
