A few screenshots of the recently released 313

Like yourself I bought myself the 313! Took a bit of practice to get used to but enjoying it loads!

Also been playing with the Thumper that I bought a while back! Best in green imo :D

The 313 is fast becoming my fav train to drive. I recently downloaded the free Bluecode NLL (backdated). So I've now got 313's/416's & BR Blue locos's running together through north London :D

This pic is of an NSE 313 at Silvertown!

So I decided to give myself a month of premium UKTS - and promptly picked up the Crouch Valley lines and made a quick scenario. A couple pictures are attached - and if you want a link to the scenario, PM me and I'll send a copy to you.

Not a train simulator, but personally nice screenshots nonetheless...

Love that last shot.
I must say that I do agree with you.
I’m obviously into my model railway stuff, but having looked at some of this new fangled simulator business on here I can definitely see the attraction.
It’s looking better and better these days.

I'm gonna go ahead, and blow the dust off this thread. Here are some of my screenshots taken in Train Simulator (Railworks).

A few screenshots of decaying railways. Clover Valley railway and a special over the Woodhead line after closure to passenger services.

I don’t know much about this sort of thing but the Woodhead ones are very nice.

TS2020 is capable of nice shots, but the new Trainsim World blows it out of the water for visuals, but it has too many other shortcomings at the moment for me to really get into it.

It's that time of year again...

What sort of shortcomings? I've been using TSW a lot more than TS the past few years, DTG have spent a lot of time fixing bugs since it was originally released

Lack of realistic quality sounds which are a big thing for me in terms of immersion, lack of flexibility in terms of choice of rolling stock. E.g, why can't I use the class 52 and Mk1's on the Paddington-Reading route rather than being limited to crawling around at 25mph with an express engine? Equally the 37's from the Tees Valley on the Trans-pennine? Lack of a steam locomotive to use on the West Somerset Railway, lack of editing tools to make my own scenarios or use others. There's no moving cars either on roads. It's visually stunning, but how long has it been out now and there are still glaring omissions. I like the 3 British routes I currently own, but I'm not prepared to invest further in 2020 (at the prices they're asking) until you can do more with it or they supply realistic sounds (they exist, so why don't they talk to the main supplier of custom sounds, that they already have a working relationship with...).

Meanwhile in TS2020, I can run pretty much whatever I want wherever I want, with accurate sounds and accurate and plentiful AI.
