Do you know that for sure or is this just a guess?Should be, until they can get another 47 to Appleby to swap over with the 37.
Mark
Anyone know which end the 37 is (Skipton or Appleby?)
Just had a look on their website and they still look to have tickets available every day until the end of the month - have ticket sales perhaps not been great so far?
Operating notice shows it should T&T 47. On another forum its been posted a couple of 47s failed recently.Do you know that for sure or is this just a guess?
Correct. A seperate 47 will then replace the 37, following repairs; this has occurred due to a shortage of 47s,For those in doubt, (yeah probably just me) I have had it confirmed to me that 37521 will be operating the service northbound for one week.
Know if Saturday the 25th is covered in that "week" or should I book a second trip for the 37 :PCorrect. A seperate 47 will then replace the 37, following repairs; this has occurred due to a shortage of 47s,
I thought it was 3x Mk3A FO + 1x Mk2 BFK. It appears there's a fourth FO.I like the photos and the Green Diesel loco. The train looked longer than I thought it was going to be, seemed to have 4 IC carriages and another Blood and Custard?
i've been told the consist is as follows:Anyone know which end the 37 is (Skipton or Appleby?)

Yep my mistake. I think it's a BSK too?Thanks!
They are Mk3b - GA never had any Mk3a FOs.
Used to be 37117? I thinkHow did the 37 become numbered 37521?

It was originally 37117. I had a few runs with it in Scotland back in the 1980s in that guise, but never as 37521. Like all LSL locos, it does look very smart.the 37/5 subclass are those which were refurbished with new alternators, etc, and do not have ETS capability (the 37/4s are the same but do have ETS).
17xxx is for first class brake vehicles; all but the Mark 3B vehicles are corridor types, so it’s a BFK.Yep my mistake. I think it's a BSK too?
I didn't expect there to be many but that is not good.BBC Breakfast are covering the service this morning. Just two passengers booked on first service from Skipton.

The problem is I'd like to do it, but needing to book with somebody in your "bubble" is a bit restrictive for the enthusiast market.
It's firmly not aimed at the enthusiast market.
