8 per course at Crewe, Wolves has had anything from 2 to 5 it all depends on demand across the depots. Training also takes place in Polmadie where again they have about 8 per course but Wolves drivers can be sent up there too!

Hi guys apologies if I have asked the same question before, when Avanti West Coast recruit for Wolverhampton, Manchester and Liverpool and maybe other depots in June, when will the courses start for those three depots when they recruit in June?

You’d be looking at the back end of 2022 if you’re lucky. If not it’ll be 2023. There’s a massive backlog of training at several depots now causing bottlenecks at various stages of the training process so any trainees will need to be patient.

How long does it take until you have your interview once you've been told by the OPC that Avanti will deal with you now?

Does anyone who applied for this have a rough timeline of how things progressed, please? Looking to apply for the Euston positions when they post them.

Applications were in January, online tests shortly after. Opc assessments were end of March beginning of April (not sure if any happened before/after as didnt have to sit them all) now those still in the process are awaiting a date for dmi.
