I was wondering if anyone could help to clarify what the 30 67s are up to these days. As I understand it there are a couple of different physical specifications:
- Remote fire equipment for working with 82/3 DVTs, 012-015 (CH), 029 (DBS Exec Train), presumably 001 and 003 for ATW?
- Cast iron brake blocks for Fort William sleeper 4 including 67004
Plus a number of liveries:
- 001 and 003 in Arriva Trains Wales livery
- 012-015 in Chiltern(/WSMR) Silver
- 005 and 006 in Claret for the Royal Train
- 018 in Canadian National Red
I wonder if there are any more variations and what the usual usage of the fleet it?
Also any reason that, as ScotRail have 90s in their livery, there are not 67s in ScotRail livery?
thanks!
