Inside the box over the trolley space in Coach C - that ones a bit more obvious though!
Shows how many times I sit in the saloon! Even as a passenger I try to get in the back with the guard!

I'd say plug sockets are a "nice to have" rather than an essential... however I could have done with a plug socket on my SNCF sleeper service to Latour de Carol, or at the very least on the Suburban EMU down the hill to Barcelona!I'll be honest, I don't understand the obsession with plug sockets. Most modern phones/tablets/laptops have a battery life of at least 5 - 6 hours from a full charge, can't people just make sure that their devices are fully charged before they leave home / the workplace?

769002 is now going to be delivered to Canton tomorrow
Fingers cross the move goes ahead.
Let's hope so this will be the 3rd attempt now . We better hope if it is 769002 being delivered it plays ball especially as sooner we can get it tested etc and into public service the betterFingers cross the move goes ahead.

When was the second ?
They are going there for repainting. So maybe that'll be the first to be done.
That story is 4 - 6 weeks old now and Northern are still no nearer to releasing any of their PacersIt's been speculated/assumed on here a few times about TfW gaining extra pacers this year.
RAIL magazine is, from the looks of this image, confirming what most of us assumed/calcualted:

158-830 is the 2nd TfW livery 158 and the 10th PRM modified TfW 158; 14 158s remaining for PRM mods and 22 158s remaining for livery change. 150-253 is the 4th PRM modified TfW 150, meaning 32 150s remaining for PRM mods - see here:

possibly...Perhaps people are going to get a big shock regarding PRMs. and their rate of progress. Probably they are doing nothing else such as Exams to get them through quicker
thanks for the info! not hitting more cows or another tree then...150217 at crewe arriva traincare today split in half and all seats removed so presumably having PRM mods.
If they were to get some HST’s surely it would make more sense to use them on Carmarthen to Manchester runs and maintain them at the now disused Landore depot? (Presumably some staff are still in the Swansea area who know how to maintain them)?
