Well I was wrong, a far bigger defeat than I anticipated. probably down to half the ERG and the DUP.

It would be wonderful to see their faces if, at the very last minute, May revokes A50 and resigns on the spot. She's nowhere to go now; drop her red lines, lead the UK into a no-deal situation (against the, er, will of the parliament) or pull the plug on this whole sorry episode. Maybe if she feels she will have to pull the plug she will ask the country to do it for her...yet another u-turn.

She can't, there would have to be a vote for it. And nobody will vote for anything!

Extraordinary footwork from Anne Main of the ERG. She has received 600-800 emails from constituents all but 80 from Remainers asking her to vote against the deal. This PROVES it’s a plot, so she’ll now vote FOR May’s deal because she “will not be cowed”. By her constituents!

1. Her constituents mostly voted remain
2. So much for the will of the people
3. She is deluded.

A majority of MPs probably want May to stay, because if she quits her replacement will be much further to the right and even less able to seek the cross-party compromise which is the only way out of this. It will also take several weeks, time we don't have, to get a new leader in place.

Latest on Sky - a possibility that the winning vote on Monday is played against the May Deal on Wednesday on a winner-take-all shootout.

As a betting nation i bet you can gamble on the date and hour that Theresa May will leave office if it happens.

Why has the media given Tommy Robinson so much coverage just because he spoke at the pro Brexit demo today. Clearly he's just piggy backing the demo.

So that means a potential 4th attempt to get May's deal through. MP's like bojo and jrm have changed thier minds multiple times but apparently the people are not capable (read: not allowed) to change their minds

They haven't changed their minds, they still say it's a very bad deal, just not as bad as a long delay resulting in no Brexit, 2nd referendum, or customs Union Brexit. These alternatives didn't look at all likely when May's deal was agreed, but now they do.

Customs union can never be that’s not Brexit, as we would be bound by all EU rules/ regs and courts. Might as well stay in and have are veto vote.
IMO opinion it is clear , you either leave and leave the custom union and all of other stuff or you stay in

So they have changed thier minds. They said it was no good yet they changed from saying no to yes. That's literally changing thier minds.

They voted no now they have new information they voted yes. How is that not changing thier mind. No matter the justification.

In other news
So @SamCoatesTimes says that dozens of MPs next week have a tutorial scheduled on what the customs union is from some trade experts... You would think they would have done this a few years ago.

As in :
Do you want to stay in the European Union , or leave it ?
Pretty clear to me ?
Like saying do you want to stay in the RMT union or leave it ?
Either way it’s been a right balls up , and I am ashamed the the parliament has acted over this
