Can't help but notice those new seats have no armrests. They've also done away with the 2+1 seating it seems. Not like the NR was even that busy in seated...shame!

It looks to me like they are trying to use the seat frames that are spare from the changes made to first class recently.

However, someone ought to feed back that most users of the Night Riviera seated accommodation overnight like to sleep and might not appreciate an upright seat.

What is with a 'daytime configuration' for the sleeper carriages also?

That's for when the 57 inevitably fails. The berth passengers might be travelling much further in to the morning than originally intended!

Understand from wnxx forum 150232 is now green any pics?

Be interesting to see if it has a green interior and if the pink disabled toilet door is now a different colour
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Note southern stations announce gwr only as 'service to' can they not record a new voice to say great western railway

Any more pics of the 166 gwr interior and is the next one due?

Got one here.. https://mobile.twitter.com/search?q=Gwr interior&s=typd

So, had my first ride on the green HST yesterday, on my commute home. Felt a little odd, like I'd somehow got the wrong train (though only GWR serve the station). Much more relaxed colour scheme, I really like it.

But best of all - they've replaced the lights! Hallelujah! If they keep this up I'll be able to put away the eyemask once electrification's finished in ten years...

This appears to contradict ml's post #559 above, can anyone confirm 150232's livery?

In the New Year one of Reading's prototype 150/0s will be joining the Green Team!

166210 is currently at Wolverton so will be the next Green 166.

Another HST power car is receiving the "Bristol 2015" treatment and should enter service soon - it is reported as 43192.

I believe that it is currently away having work done to it.. whether it then comes back in green is anyone's guess.

I saw an unidentified green 166 at Betchworth this morning, which was in full livery including white/silver lateral line under the windows and a first class yellow stripe (despite allegations all around that this latter would not be applied!).
