That is a fitting term to describe him I think.
AT Walex, you should be lynched for embedding that link.
At least there is one advantage on having a tablet!

One advantage to having a crap tablet anyway.
I trust you both had ridiculously cheap tickets to Burscough Junction? To add, although not a surprising place as it's his local station, but a surprising time, I saw AndyMcl74 at Little Sutton a few weeks back. I say it was a surprising time as it was quite early and I don't think there was anyone on the platform but me and him.
You guys all seem so sociable. I never get to meet anyone unexpectedly when out on my own.
Met Paxvobiscum on the Cumbrian Coast while on a NW rover! He was sat on the table in front of me, I was deciding where to bail out when he got up and asked me if I was a member on Rail UK!
Paxvobiscum was being rather courageous there!
Imagine the possible reponse if he'd got it wrong... "How dare you take me for some sort of Anorak trainspotter".

Think you'd struggle to make London again for another departure after FTW!
you can with permission, and as you're an already well established member and its for charity, that's fine. I suggest posting a new thread

It must be me and my eccentric demeanor but for me I can sort of sense if somebodies a member on here, weird I know! It worked when I was talking to somebody on Chester station who turned out to be Sprinterman and also Ryan125hst at Liverpool Lime Street.
Not too difficult. Notepad, Camera, Anorak, Packed Lunch and standing on the end of a platform not catching a Train is usually a give away. I've identified a number of members just from there forum name, Photo's and posts.
The shy ones who do not wish to be known are a bit harder ( possibly either due too a comment made on here or the stigma attached to the hobby) they tend too pretend not to be interested when a Train passes, will turn their back, make a quick glance over their shoulder and quickly note down the number '' Your not fooling anyone'' it's time to ''Come out''.
