Ruislip is also storing some pre-acceptance.
Is there a reason why the area near the articulated section (between carriages) has so few handrails? The seats there have no horizontal grab rails above them, for example, and you see people bracing themselves by trying to hold on to the ceiling...
I would guess that is due to the wish of trying not to encourage people to stand around that area.
It is there if people need to, and mostly to move through.
I have always felt uneasy with those inter-car areas especially when the train or tram or even bus to, is entering a curve. A person with one leg on one side, and a leg on the other, will quickly see themselves doing the splits without knowing it.

Further to my post above, an S7 delivery will be made this week.
Also, District Line train 121 should see regular S7 working from today as it doesn't run beyond Barking and is staffed entirely by Acton drivers.
Signalling immunisation has now been completed from Upney to Upminster so this should immanently allow S7 trains to access Upminster during traffic hours.

How recent was that visit? I've had the middle three in that list for haulage about three months ago - surely they're not sending some S7s back to Derby as well now?

That explains why I saw a District S7 at Mile End today with Barking showing and I'm sure it had 066 as the train number, I think I've worked out what the stations in the list are,
THL = Tower Hill
WDN = Wimbledon
Etc
Can somebody confirm DGE and ECDW please?
Is this a good time to mention that I saw an S7 in the bay at Tower Hill with a Wimbledon train two weeks ago? Yes, it was in passenger service and the screens did indeed say Wimbledon.
My post #488 informs that T121 has been an S7 since September, which visits Tower Hill bay, Wimbedon and Barking.M-F.
Stabling capacity in London has been greatly reduced while work continues to be undertaken at Ealing Common, Lillie Bridge and Upminster depots. (10 roads at ECom, 3 at Lillie Bridge, 9 at Upminster).Why are they storing the latest S7 deliveries and not putting them into service?
Is there some serious barrier blocking their entry onto the District lines?
I would think that, they would prefer to have them into service as soon as is possible.
