I found out earlier, I posted on both this and the Northern Unit refurbishments thread just to ask people on both threadsYes see northern refurbishment thread.

333011 went back to neville hill today and then there was a return journey scheduled for going to holbeck as seen here:

Does anyone know if this was a just the locos and barrier cars returning? Or a 333 unit going to holbeck? If so, does anyone know which unit went to holbeck today?
I think by then there will be 1 or 2 more 333s to do by then, probably by the end of the year I think they'll all be done. The 333s seem to be being refurbed pretty rapidly, I suspect at the current rate they will all be done by Autumn?
Baring in mind im basing it on the fact that only two 333s have been completed since January: 333013 and 333011 (333001 doesn't count since that was completed in 2018).I think by then there will be 1 or 2 more 333s to do by then, probably by the end of the year I think they'll all be done.
agreed, I think we can have another 4 more units done (excluding 333015) by August/ September. I probably think we're looking at January or February next year to see the whole fleet of 333s done13 of the 16 units left to do at 3 weeks at Holbeck each is 39 weeks which is around 10 months so unlikely to be all done this year.

I guess thats probably why the first one went around September time last year.I'd imagine the 333s aren't a priority because they're already PRM compliant.
I wonder if this will be the next unit to go in after 333015 comes out333007 appeared to have been denamed when I caught it this morning- just as well I took a picture of the nameplate on Monday afternoon!
Apparently the 32x were struggling a bit over winter, but there does seem to be a bit of slack outside of multiple failures coinciding. There's also a certain amount of capacity in the fleet if all the 321s and 2s are all operational.

333s have driving motors.Funnily enough, I saw it again on the way home and both driving trailers on one side had names! I guess one side must have been damaged in the carriage washers or something.

That looks new unlike the half arsed Sprinter refurbs. Obviously caused by Siemens calling the shots and it shows.Guess the unit

I guess your on about the sprinters that haven't received a full interior refurb yet (no new seat covers or linos)That looks new unlike the half arsed Sprinter refurbs. Obviously caused by Siemens calling the shots and it shows.
I agree, they do look great and I can't wait until they've all been refurbished.Nope, same people managing the 333 refurbs as the rest of the fleet refurbs. More to do with a fleet being in good condition to start with.....
