Yep, 019
Afternoon Pacing 11/12/19
Meadowhall: 142095 1315 Sheffield- Leeds ...keeping as far from Hull - Sheffield diagrams as possible and onward to Worksop...doomed .
142037 has gone, 142009 not
So we’re talking about warm stored aswell? I’ll have a look later. There are quite a few
Sheffield to Manchester absolutely full of pacers today! I saw 142036 and 142090 at hope142089 was looking weary on the late running 10.49 out of Piccadilly, shown here having been made to wait over 10 minutes to clear railway's Bermuda triangle between the three Dore junctions. Started 3 minutes down and finished down 17.
Started back 10 minutes late and arrived in Piccadilly 11 down.
Was only 2 minutes late out of Piccadilly on next run arriving in Sheffield 4 down.
Had kept to time back west when passing Chinley North.

Strange goings on today. The 8.24 from Dore to Sheffield was showing on the CIS at the station and online as being cancelled. Odd, because it was also showing as stopping at Grindleford and Sheffield! It stopped at Dore and left at 8.26. Meanwhile some potential passengers had gone for the bus!
Not the bus on the rails then?

Ah 142050, the final unit of the first batch of 142s and the first unit trial fitted with the Cummins engine and Voith transmission. Bit historically significant in the annals of Pacer development, that one.
Still there I thinkDid 142088, 093 and 096 reach their final resting place today? Or are they still stuck at Derby pending completion of the necessary paperwork?
Also could there be any potential clearance issues when it comes to Pacers being moved from Worksop/Gascoigne Wood to Newport Docks for scrapping as I understand that there are some sections of track that haven't been traversed by a Pacer before or for a very long while
I travel every day, usually it’s a 150/1 and once I have been an hour lateHope Valley is a line for walkers, outdoor tourists and hardy Peak District folk. Seems it's now gaining a new market, Pacer spotters and those wanting a last ride!
To those proposing to pay a visit, beware. Northern's random unit generator might send out a 150, 156 or 158. Worse, it's almost certain to be late, the betting is it will be at least 3-5 minute late . All the Hope Valley stations feature in the current worst 25 in the country for punctuality - and that's not the fault of Pacers.
It’s likely, I have seen no movements todayStill there I think

Ah, I did wonder about that soon after I posted, but didn't have a chance to check. Thanks for the correction.142050 was indeed the only Class 142 built with Voith gearboxes (I have seen a picture of it's new underframe in a rail magazine from the time it was built), but it had Leyland TL11 engines. The unit that was first trialed with Cummins engines was Class 141, 141113.
Angel Trains has announced plans to sell the out-of-service Class 142 units, with all resulting proceeds to be donated to charity:

I think for all intents and purposes, 142009 service days are over as its apparently not been used since October when it got transfered upto Heaton.
Cancelled.Move in RTT rescheduled for Thursday

So for clarity as your post is not the clearest(at least in my eyes) is 142095 on its way to Worksop? It would appear its not.
If so the pacers that are no longer in public service are 142005/09/16//19/22/25/29/33/39/44/50/52/64/66/88/93/96. Any that I have missed?
So 17 pacers have now been removed with many more still to come? It's all better late than never but it is sad too see them go though.
