edit: I stand corrected

Of course at 16 you can also drink an alcoholic drink, bought for you, in the presence of an adult (presumably the same one who bought you the drink) with food in a pub

You may be right. It was 16 in my day when I used to work before school in a newsagents across the road from BREL York. When the night shift came off work serious quantities of fags were sold. And on Fridays (pay day) a lot of porn mags as well!

Unless we want this thread pulled, I take it you were referring to "gentlemen's literature"?.

Too much trouble to make it worthwhile in my opinion. Hence why I haven't bothered with that. The other problem is I tend not to go to the pub for meals!

I would usually ask if the Night Riviera would suffice, but seen as that would mean you going back to Cornwall...

I'm looking at a three-figure sum for that :?

I'm not adverse to going back to Kernow. I'm down there at least once every month lol.

Speaking of the cally sleeper.....would that be counted as part of the club or are sleepers not included?

It should count; after all, it is still a case of doing the dirty on a moving train!

I can't make head nor tail of the Night Riviera prices :? I see prices ranging from £49 to £169 (all without a Railcard; based on travel to Penzance).

Hey Ivo, your in there mate!!
She has just asked you for a ticket on the Cally sleeper, and now wants to know if that suffices for the metre high club!! I think that says it all! By the way Ivo, do you know how old our lovely female friend is?!!! She could be a lot older than you!

Courtesy of the not-so-straight individual I live with, I know the scene you mean. The answer is "No". But I know several people aged ~21 who are dating people in their mid-30s, including one pairing of Kettering to Winnipeg...!

Well Ivo, just for you, £149 return per person is the most you'll have to pay on the Rivieira Sleeper!
But book far enough in advance (if you can wait that long) and its as low as £69 single per cabin!
It just depends how far in advance you can book.

I'm being defended by a girl :)

If you don't mind me saying, you don't look anywhere near 60, or probably even half of that, either :)

Sorry if you do mind me saying that...

EDIT: Oh 'eck; by sheer accident I've discovered the lovely lady's age (or age minus one, in case her birthday has passed since)! I shan't reveal how though.

Sorry Kernowfem...
:(

Double 'eck; I've found a second and more up-to-date reference!

Yep, and tomorrows are going to be about organising this wedding!!
You could have it in the lounge car of the Cally sleeper!!
Or travel to the wedding on the sleeper, and have it up Ben Nevis!

It's gonna be far more than half grasshopper :p

Perhaps the honeymoon could be on 323 although how the marriage would be consummated is anyone's guess

James. Leave ivo alone! As for the graduate thing, im no where near 60 yet!! But I do like roses as it happens lol.

Nor was Mrs Robinson. (BTW, did we ever find out her first name? I can't imagine an affair with someone when you don't know that) Still, if I had to guess, not even half 60 for quite a while.

I'll send you a rose from my garden if we get any this year.
