Made a trio of Class 700 front modifications, some look good.

Put that pink on the doors as well and I think you're on to a winner.

Even the black looks quite good.

You know, I think that's why I don't like the 717s... it looks like they've forgotten to put a colour - any colour - on that panel.

Well the last one would never fly ;) but otherwise, very nice.

Black doors + front variant?

That’s the best one so far. Although black ends are a french speciality so I may be biased.

Can you do a 717 with those various colours (GN would specifically be the light blue)?

Hmm... Merging some of those even more...
Colour panel at the front in pink/blue/etc to denote which bit of GTR.
Black doors.
Doors nearest the accessible features in the operator indicator colour?

Would the mixing of brand, sub-brand and accessibility features work well or just be noisy?

Where HSTs Still Scream. Kind of.
I'd be tempted to paint the Mk. 3s operating with the ex-GC EMT power cars into a dark blue livery a la the 156s / 153s, as the "connection" the guard compartment offered is lost on those sets. I think the darker shade would work well and look pretty classy, as the power car livery itself is nice but doesn't really match the stock.

That really suits that unit. Not surprising that DB Regio colours suit a German EMU though!

As a general one...add a dark grey window band to any livery that hasn't got one provides a guaranteed enhancement.

The 360 frontage would look good on a 185

The 360 front end is about as ugly as the back end of a Leyland Atlantean. The gangwayed version looks much, much nicer, even the pig-ugly LNR "Trebor Mints Packet" livery with the yellow fly catching device on the front. But nobody ever made a 350 look good like Best Impressions for LM - they managed to turn a fairly basic looking 20m South East commuter EMU into the core of their excellent brand.
