The photo on Carl Watson’s site just next to the one above gives a much more positive impression...This car is currently undergoing component recovery however, so it will make little to no difference to the grand scheme of things. There should be a completed 121 and near completed 117 within the works now, with this former Swanage 117 eventually heading for scrap I believe.
The class 117 dmu is due to return to Swanage from Eastleigh tomorrow (Thursday 2nd Jan) The class 33 is going from Swanage in the morning to collect it .The photo on Carl Watson’s site just next to the one above gives a much more positive impression...
Any times pls. Tried RTT and got an unactivated Wareham to Swanage service

3 coachesHow many carriages will the 117 have?
I understand the NR computer had declared the movement out of gauge in the Brockenhurst area. May be purely as a Class 117 will have not have been physically gauged for anywhere recently although I do not know. I assume it was not an issue with the Class 33 as that has been through there a few times in the past year.just seen on rtt it says cancelled due to train operators request, shame would have been an interesting spot
hopefully someone posts if its to run at a later date

From another forum apparently it is a recently installed cabinet that is causing the issue. That's a shame, hope it gets resolved soon.
The first DMU car arrived by road at Norden today, I saw it being propelled into Corfe Castle on their webcam at about 1300hrs by the 08, I believe the other 2 cars will arrive by road at Norden tomorrow and Saturday. From another forum apparently it is a recently installed cabinet that is causing the issue.
One of the driving cars arrived about 1630 on the 12th as shown in RH Issue 676 page 20. I understand the donor unit may have also arrived earlier the same day.The first DMU car arrived by road at Norden today, I saw it being propelled into Corfe Castle on their webcam at about 1300hrs by the 08, I believe the other 2 cars will arrive by road at Norden tomorrow and Saturday.
