444037 was not ready in time for departure from Eastleigh last night, and 444018 was sent back to Basingstoke.
.
Therefore "The Fab 444" remains in service for another day.
.
Today it works:
2W05 0540 Basingstoke to Weymouth
1W52 0820 Weymouth to Waterloo
1W65 1205 Waterloo to Weymouth
1W66 1520 Weymouth to Waterloo
1T59 1839 Waterloo to Fareham
5T59 2059 Fareham to Portsmouth & Southsea ECS
.
There is a possibility it will be swapped over at some point today.
.

Right now, it'd be nice to see them all deep cleaned externally as some are extremely filthy.
Right now it would be nice if SWR employed enough staff, removed graffiti tags from the trains and went back to SWT standards of fleet reliability.

In my opinion SWR do a much better job of cleaning the trains than SWT did!

With SWT, trains were only deep cleaned every 110 days.

With SWR, trains are now deep cleaned every 30 days

Another thing to add, since the SWR days, the trains no longer have that horrible greasy bicycle smell.

They might be deep cleaned every 30 days in theory, but it seems to be a much shallower deep clean.
Try wiping a white hankerchief around edges of windows, or heating mesh, or edge of doors and soon find dirt that probably been sitting there more than a month

Those SWR stickers on exterior, never seem to be clean properly

Indeed; SWR cleaning = cursory and more frequent, SWT cleaning = thorough and less frequent.

I agree. Cleaning is much better now. Under SWT the floors of the 455s and 458s were absolutely disgusting, but now they're cleaned to a reasonable standard.

If you ignore the graffiti tags inside and outside and the layer of dirt along the bottom of the bodyside on the 707s (and is just cleaned around the vehicle number).

It's slightly odd as judging by the video it's received the blue dots above the small first class section.
I thought they axed this ages ago!

It might not though because the 159s with the striped livery haven't been changed unless they do them after the rest of the 159s are done
Give them a chance! SWR (Mellors) said all the striped ones will be re-done in standard livery. That could be soon or it could be at the end of the Desiro repaints. Just because they haven't been done yet doesn't mean that they won't be.

It will because the 444 and 450 fleets are due repaint/bodywork overhaul. The two initial vinyl jobs need this work as well, so the vinyls will come off.
