Does anyone know if 43026+43071 were on the 1028 Swansea to Paddington on Monday 18th August? Saw 43026 was leading but didn't catch the rear power car. 071 was confirmed working with 026 on 13th August on Paignton to London so wondered if they were still a pair on 18th. Thanks!

Anybody got the 221 running tonight's XC 1927 Manchester Piccadilly to Southampton Central service, didn't manage to catch the number when it pulled in (and have a 2 minute connection at Basingstoke so probably won't be able to grab it)

First time posting on here. Hopefully somebody can help identify two units at Crewe this evening (both seen at approximately 20:10 hrs). The first was an Arriva Trains Wales Class 153 stabled on Crewe LNWR. The second was an East Midlands Class 222 which was in the usual East Midlands bay platform, presumably on the Crewe - Derby due to the Watford blockade. Thanks in advance to anybody who can help.

I did ask this elsewhere but it got lost in other discussion so I'm reposting it here which is probably more appropriate anyway.

I was on the highland sleeper, 1S25, last night (25th night/26th morning), during the east coast dewirement. As well as stopping for that, we also stopped at Doncaster for a while, which the attendant later told me was because we needed to change loco. What was the TOPS number of the new loco and why did they need to change anyway?

With the OLE affected then all the sleeper services were likely to have been dragged by a Cl.67 between London & Doncaster (or Peterborough at least). However there seems to be no information available as to actual allocations of loco save the booked Cl.90.

Sorry.

Northbound, sorry for those who don't have headcodes memorised from playing too much simsig...

High Dyke - well, when I boarded (and we did leave on time) there was a 90 on the front and a 67 in the adjacent platform. Maybe we got a new loco at Wembley EFOC though - I didn't notice the 90 run round - or maybe we retained the 90 on the back instead of dividing from it like normal and reversed out with that. Who knows? Thanks for trying..

For the record, it was 90029 on the front, 90035 on the back, 67017 in adjacent platform. We arrived Aberdeen with 67016.

Apologies, I completely overlooked the head code.

1S25 was hauled by 66016, which was detached at Doncaster. I'm afraid I don't know where it was attached.

I saw a 156+150 combo departing Stockport, heading towards Manchester Piccadilly, this evening. This was sometime 1906 and 1927, and I think it may have been 2H35 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly. http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/Y74782/2014/08/26/advanced
Could anyone check what worked this?

Thanks, Sam
156464 / 150135 were working the 18:29 Buxton - Man Picc service
142068 was on the Chester - Man Picc

Thank you very much. It was probably attached at Wembley EFOC IMHO since that was really the only other chance to attach locos - also, the shaver sockets went off when we were stopped there and didn't come back on until Doncaster as far as I could tell (would a 66 normally cause this or was there something actually wrong?). So so far we have:

Euston to EFOC - 90029
EFOC to Doncaster - 66016
Doncaster to Edinburgh - ?
Edinburgh to Aberdeen (different headcode) - 67016 (nice symmetry there!)

Any ideas anyone for the Doncaster section, then?

The 90 was dead-in-train EFOC-Doncaster, then took back over at Doncaster.

1A25 is your EDB-ABD headcode
