Wow, what problems are CAF having that there test train departs 244 minutes late!
Hold on, why assume it's a CAF issue? Current info suggests it was a fault on 68026

More likely to avoid sitting in various loops all evening, it’s had a storming run over the PenninesWow, what problems are CAF having that there test train departs 244 minutes late!
Any idea which end the loco is on? Any information greatly appreciatedHold on, why assume it's a CAF issue? Current info suggests it was a fault on 68026

Thank you very much and yes, just noticed the westbound pop up, a bit unsporting not to run it into the stationConsist suggests east end. It's just gone into Holgate and seems set to pick up it's westbound path from there.
68030 had to be swapped off Set 6 at MID after a brake loop issue which caused issues with the test run on Monday night.15:45 MID-Scarborough confirmed as CAPED at York Holgate Loop 171 late having set off from Manchester 244 late.
I suspect it was getting a bit late to run down to Scarborough due to closing times for the various signal boxes.
68026 on set 6.
No because it was a locomotive issue but it wasn’t a Fault free running train anyway^Would that reset the fault-free mileage back to zero?
Many thanks for all the insights, always greatly appreciated. No because it was a locomotive issue but it wasn’t a Fault free running train anyway

I’m guessing that perhaps TP09 is the ‘mileage accumulator’ and TP06 is ‘testing mods’, maybe to ASDO. It would make sense to save the large number of miles in the bag for TP09, but I’m probably completely wrong!
Thanks for that, greatly appreciated.Spot on.
love itSlightly rubbish video of the set passing Batley:
Seconded, very nice videoSlightly rubbish video of the set passing Batley:
Great to see a picture of a set at Man Vic, I bet that sounded nice.Even though I live near Stalybridge, I think that last night was the first time I've seen a full set with work and whatnot. Even then, this was only because it was running 4 hours late

Agreed, they look fantastic inside and out. The sound is not bad eitherThey really do look smart. Can't wait to get a ride on one!
I think there’s only ever one test/mileage run at anyone time. As far as I could tell, this week’s activity was:A Leeds to Manchester set has ran tonight but a Liverpool yo York run is down as “run as required” with no running updates
Any idea roughly how many miles that was in total?I think there’s only ever one test/mileage run at anyone time. As far as I could tell, this week’s activity was:

The previous week TP09 had done four days of MID-Carlisle-Bletchley-MID so that’s just over 2000 miles. Add on the trip last Monday, and providing all the miles were fault free, that set would be on over 2500 miles.Any idea roughly how many miles that was in total?
