Going slightly further back, Corby (re-opened 1987, but closed again 1990 until 2009), Errol (1985), Groombridge and Tunbridge Wells West (1985), Radipole (1983), Coulsdon North (1983); Bingham Road, Coombe Road and Selsdon (1983).

Addiscombe closed in the 90s to make way for the Croydon Tramlink, but the tram stop called Addiscombe is actually on the site of the old Bingham Road station (albeit at street level instead of on a viaduct)
.

Also, Clayton West and Skelmanthorpe (1983)

Norton Bridge, Barlaston and Wedgwood are not closed! Although they are correctly listed as having no service at present.

Interestingly, in recent correspondence with London Midland, they deny any requirement to serve these stations or any responsibility for / involvement in the increasingly poor replacement bus service. First Potteries service 23 takes a mere 52 to 69 minutes for the 7.1 miles between Stoke Station and Stone - where it doesn't go near the rail station anyway.

Etruria was formally closed with a proper consultation and public inquiry.

Hasn't Polesworth recently had a Parly service re-introduced??

Only in the northbound direction - four tracks to cross on foot to reach the southbound - as per Norton Bridge, someone stole the footbridge!

Since Northern Irish stuff I believe somewhat bizarrely belongs in this forum, here you go:
Bleach Green, Mount, Barn, Eden, Kilroot and Ballymacarrett - 1977
Crawfordsburn - 1997
Crumlin, Glenavy and Ballinderry - 2003
Knockmore - 2005

Heh, here's a map just to really show off :)

Interesting the Wikipedia (yes I know) article for Park Station has a dead link to a "List of dates from 1 January 1985 to 20 January 2006 of last passenger trains at closed BR (or Network Rail stations since privatisation)". Department for Transport Website: Freedom of Information Act responses, February 2006. Department for Transport. 2006.

Here is that Dft list:View attachment dft list of station closures.pdf

Surprised no-one's mentioned Ditton yet. It officially closed in 1994.

Last time I.went through (admittedly about a decade ago) it still had a few nameboards up! Surprised it survived as long as it did though, there appears to be b***er-all there!

Do the stations on the Oldham Loop (i.e. Milnrow, Newhey, Shaw and Crompton, Oldham Mumps, Oldham Werneth, Hollinwood, Failsworth, Dean Lane) count, losing all their National Rail services in 2009?

Nope, because they all (bar Werneth) gained direct replacements once the Metrolink opened. This thread I believe is for stations which closed outright.

Where was Greatham station that is stated as being closed on 24/11/91?

Between Billingham and Seaton Carew up on Tees-side. Page 62, ref A2 in the excellent 'Rail Atlas of Britain 1977'.

Chee Dale Halt closed 1987.

Does the OP fancy going through the whole thread to add every place into the opening post? 1986 would seem a nice cut-off date.

This might be total rubbish, but didn't Park serve a huge Co-op jam factory, which later closed. That's what my late dad told me.
Up to 1896, Co-op jam was made in Crumpsall. In 1896 a dedicated jam factory opened at Middleton Junction. Neither would have been served by Park Station, which was a couple of miles away from both and on the wrong line.

I think all are listed in the DfT attachment.

It's true, I've got nothing better to do :D

How does the attached do?

National Rail stations only - and Chee Dale Halt doesn't count - was that a Spellar Amendment station? Did it officially open in order for it to require offical closure?
