Which Train/Loco follows you about?

Often see 185's 142, 150 and 151.

In May 185110 was around quite a lot, but then it disapppeared for ages, though I saw it at Preston on Friday.

175001, 175107 and 110 again.

Also there's a 150 with the name 'driver John (someone)' - I ALWAYS see that!

91111 hated me for about 6 months, I didn't see her unbranded at all despite going to York, Northallerton, Doncaster, Leeds and Peterborough more than once...

I was getting followed about for a while a few months ago by the Network Rail HST. I saw it three times in less than a week at York, Leeds, and at speed on the WCML near Tamworth.

Back in my spotting days it was 31404 and 45112 that were constantly on the scene and causing maximum boredom.

I could argue a case for 158957 and 43028 (and whatever it works with, I'm not sure), and possibly also 357010 (although that is probably because its livery is unique and thus easy to spot). However, the winner must be 143620, which is annoying because I don't like Pacers! (Unless 121032 counts - nah, I follow it!)

More so than trains though, I seem to have buses following m! Back in 2002 I went to various locations in south Essex and the same Lynx turned up every time, even on the low-floor route 42! I also somehow managed to catch the same Volvo on six consecutive journeys earlier this year...

170631! remember going to Bescot and back to Rugeley Trent Valley and i seen it five times in one day! but it still follows me!

221136 & 221137 just have loads of photos with them in!

67013, every time i get an Wrexham and Shropshire photo, it always been 67013

every time i go near an Class 175 route 175010 is always there

390011 'City Of Lichfield' is also an good one, it possibly passes when i don't evenn see the nameplate!

This is a really good thread!

In my early days - I would continuously find myself being stalked by GNER's '91X07 Newark on Trent', '91023 City of Durham' and ' or '91119: County of Tyne & Wear'. It was uncanny - these three would always be hauling the rake that would take me both to London and back again... very weird! and this went on until NXEC den-named them all.

These days I get a bit more peace and there's not much that I see around uncannily often - however whenever on the rare occasion I see a class 60 it always seems to be '60046 William Wilberforce'... and this too has been happening for quite a while now..
