Just because both operators are under the same umbrella, doesn't mean that each depot is an operational clone of another. I'm stumped as to why the 350/2 re-livery programme has stopped, but the 350/1 refurbishment has not been without its problems. (A contact of mine who works in Kings Heath Depot said that WMT weren't happy with the refurb spec on the first 350/1 refurb; it's been going through the motions since then.)
WMR also maintain their units in-house (i.e. by WMR fitters/engineers), while the LNWR 350s (and 319s) are all maintained by Siemens, who seem justifiably more focused on the reliability of their fleet rather than their colour.
The delays to the /1 refurb is the reason the /2 rebrand has stopped. Its simply the fact that with 106, 115 and 123 all being missing that it isnt then practical to stop a /2 aswell and end up cancelling/shortforming.

Question now is, what specific reason is stopping them from completing the work?

Are the changing their refurbishment plans or what??

No.idea I'm afraid.
It seems incredibly strange that this work has meant that 106 and 115 have barely worked this year.
I worked 106 once back in April and I believe that was between its first trip to Long Marston and heading to Bletchley.
The 185s and 450s had a seemingly similar refurb and altho the 1st 450 took an age they were then knocking them out at a steady rate. Why 3 are out of service with non coming back seems insane.

Who can be ask though? Cause the twitter teams at WMT arn’t always the best at providing accurate information

To be honest I'm not sure where knowledge of the problems get down to. I've not seen any briefing about the refurb for a while at all so it's all quite close to somebody's chest at the moment so really a wait and see.

I'm not particularly up to date, does 172339 have the final livery or is it in the demonstrator livery? Also, was the demonstrator livery for the 350s the same as the final?

If you mean the original livery before the franchise started then yes. LNR has never had a different livery design. It has always been final.

All WMR 172s are now in final livery as far as i know? Its just the interior which all need doing

Stourbridge Junction has two WMR signs on platform 2 at the Hagley end. Nothing else changed, other than lift signs in the subway and do not run signs that were put in some time ago.

I was on University Station on Friday evening when I saw a train from Worcester (or beyond) stop on the opposite platform heading for New Street. It was only when it had stopped did I think to look at it as the livery was not what I am now used to. On the back were two 153s so they had the upwards green swirl at both ends of the carriage. On the front was a two car unit but I had not studied it as it went past and I thought it was in the old LM livery but looking at the list posted above I can only assume it was a 170/5 and I had not seen the 'outgoing' part of the livery.
