Since the ones on the frequently requested diagrams thread are out of date, can anyone confirm whether the 1112 BHM - PLY is a HST on the 3rd November?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance
Derby alterations should be complete by this date, so I would say this will be a HST working 1V50 06:06 Edinburgh to Plymouth. At the moment with the Derby blockade, this service is a Voyager with the HST passing through Birmingham an hour later on the 1V52 07:00 Edinburgh to Plymouth.Since the ones on the frequently requested diagrams thread are out of date, can anyone confirm whether the 1112 BHM - PLY is a HST on the 3rd November?

Go to the HST supporters website which is linked from the diagrams thread. It's all there...
If you mean even on the Derby blockade section, thanks for the warning, it might have saved me from an unpleasant journey (and a wasted day.) Is it safe to rely on RTT timing loads, or is that what you have based the correction on? Where can we get the real diagrams?

The two early starts from Leeds (05.44 & 06.16) are currently HSTs, both are Plymouth bound. XC’s website daily amendments list all the HSTs as being ‘7 coaches High Speed Train’.Is 1V52 and return the only mid-week XC HST diagram at the moment (Derby Blockade)?
There appear to be more midweek HST diagrams now - both 1S52 12.24 Plymouth Edinburgh and 1E56 13.25 Plymouth Newcastle are HSTs today.
Eh???Should be the same as the usual southbound (from Birmingham) and +1 hour from Bristol.
Northbound +1 hour from Bristol, but +2 from Birmingham.
THe 06:11 Leeds to Plymouth and 12:25 Return to Glasgow and the 06:06 Edinburgh to Plymouth and 15:25 Return are HST's.Does anyone know the planned HST workings for 20th October please?
Thanks
Could well be but looking at Real Time Trains for the Friday before it looks like the HST for the 1225 Plymouth on Sunday is on the 13:07 from Edinburgh which is the same as the diagrams from before the May timetable. I could be wrong though.1V44 / 1S51
1V48 / 1S55
1V52 / 1E67
1V54 / 1E73
as far as I know...
No. The HST's have been terminating at Exeter and returning a hour earlier from Exeter to enable them to be on the correct times north of Birmingham.Should be the same as the usual southbound (from Birmingham) and +1 hour from Bristol.

Edit: this would mean I'd have to get the 2003 from BHM which annoyingly doesn't go to York. I'll book that if it's definitely HST though.1V44 / 1S51

1525 from Plymouth (1903 from BHM) is showing as Voyager on the seat selector, however I have known this to be incorrect so you could be right. I'd far rather this be the HST rather than the 2003, so I hope you're right!THe 06:11 Leeds to Plymouth and 12:25 Return to Glasgow and the 06:06 Edinburgh to Plymouth and 15:25 Return are HST's.
What are you on about? 1V46 is a HST today as booked on a Monday.According the XC HST diagrams from today, the 06:45 York - Plymouth, therefore 13:25 Plymouth - Edinburgh is meant to be an HST. On the JourneyCheck, this is an 8-coach Voyager and the 06:01 Glasgow - Plymouth and 16:25 Plymouth - Leeds service is a 7-coach HST.
If this is permanent then that's gonna be fun. I know an 8-coach Voyager is better than 4 coaches in use but for those that like HST's, it won't be great not having the back up of one an hour later from the South West to the North East / Scotland (e.g 13:25 after the 12:25 on Mondays)
I guess it could be temporary so that the trains end up in the right place.
1V46 has always been a double set during the week in the normal timetable. One off due to voyager not being available.I'm very sorry. Turns out I was looking at the 06:45 Newcastle to Plymouth service. Good to see an extra HST in use today which is the 06:01 of Glasgow!
Thanks. Do you know if I'm safe to book yet? What I posted is what is on the wall in the office from Control. Although I don't know how long it's been there, I'll do some more in-depth looking when I get in this afternoon.
Wheelflats were identified on trailing power car 43366 while working 1S51 12:25 Plymouth - Glasgow on Monday, so the service was terminated at Bromsgrove post haste and the HST set subsequently sent to Tyseley for stabling. It's likely that 43366 has gone for a spin on the wheel lathe there.Does anyone know why there is a XC HST at Tyseley today? It only had one Power Car on the set so there could be a problem with the other one.
Ok thank you. I didn't see that power car so it looks like it has gone on the lathe.Wheelflats were identified on trailing power car 43366 while working 1S51 12:25 Plymouth - Glasgow on Monday, so the service was terminated at Bromsgrove post haste and the HST set subsequently sent to Tyseley for stabling.
