Today I was on the 13:47 to Warrington Bank Quay, the train was delay more than 30 minute because of anti-fascist march outside Liverpool Lime Street. Over 50 Police attend around the station and in the area. But I can't understand why delay the train because of march didn't come in the station at all.
The police was checking inside trains and stood in some of trains before they can leaving seem to me a waste of time by the time train was finally leaving the Lime station and stop again in a queue of traffic at tunnel few yards after the station.
At Earlestown railway station on the platfrom 3, the train stop and it didn't not move more than a 2 minute. The driver told everyone to get off. So we had to wait other 37 minute for other train to come in on platform 3. Delay was add more than a minute at Winwick Junction waiting for the Virgin train to pass very frustration day!
Is the police are to blamed for the disputed?
