I have no ideas ha ha. I think it went ok, but it was a lot tougher then I was expecting. As I had already done my MMI, which is a bombardment of competencies, I was expecting the DMI to be a little more about me and info on the company eye, no lol. I think I had 8 competencies to answer, 2 questions on the company, any background knowledge I already had, and any questions I had for them. I think it lasted an hour and a half.
The people were nice enough and friendly but got I was nervous leading up to it ha ha.
My problem is I can't just look at it as just an interview. This is a new job, a new career, a new start and providing for my family. I always out too much pressure on myself.

But other then aĺl that....i think it went alright.
I just need to wait till after the weekend to hear anything.

They said more then likely, if I get it, my depot will be either Hornsey or WGC

When you had your mmi, did they ask you more questions other than the 6 questions that you already had given examples too? Got mine coming up soon
Thanks

As far as I remember, it was just the ones I had already written down, just having to go into more detail and them asking me more questions on the examples I was giving.

Did you make a note of your examples?
I never did and there were a good couple of months between my 2 stages of assessments

Yes I did lucky.. I went with about 10
Examples as I done research on this forum of what may be asked and luckily I had covered the 6 questions. It has been the same as me, I think it was a couple of months when I wrote my examples. I had my dmi first so this is the last stage. When they offered you a job.. is it for this year? As I’ve been reading some people passed everything and they said they would have to wait till next year for a call as to when they would start so they have nothing 100%

Has anyone else had a call this week asking to move their MMI date due to lack of OPC assessors?

I know people have said you get given your examples first to look over before the interview, just wondering do they allow you to have notes while during the interview?

Sorry dude, just seen this.
I was not allowed notes no, they let you have the original examples you write down for guidance, but if you have thought of better ideas you are allowed yo change them.

Good job in passing.
I had my medical yesterday ha ha

Ah cool.. hope it went well. I’m still waiting for them to call and give me a date as they said they couldn’t give me one yet because the jan/feb intake were full and awaiting new dates for the next training courses.

Think about your answer because you start talking. Be prepared to be pressed hard. Use the STAR method and be as thorough as you can. Good luck! :D

Be prepared for a lot of 'How did that make you feel?' questions at the end of your examples.

Thanks for the replies, less than 24 hours and already I'm climbing the walls waiting on my result!
I was in there for 1hr 40mins and still can't gauge how it went, There wasn't a vast amount of probing questions only the "how did you feel" at the end of each question, and on a couple of occasions he asked a question that in hindsight was perhaps bringing me back to the STAR format. I have to say my assessor was very good at not giving anything away. If it was a normal job interview I would have said it went well as it was relaxed, and in some instances he even gave me examples of his own experiences similar to my examples. I felt like a rapport had been built very quickly - however back to reality and this is not a normal job interview! as he explained at the end, it's a simple black and white pass or fail for each question, 1 fail you're out. the advice and tips given by others on here proved invaluable and I just hope I used them to their potential.

Been reading for a while, thought I’d better join you discussions? I’ve passed MMI and DMI, awaiting date for medical as will not do when courses not yet confirmed, although told possibly Feb/March next year

I was given 3rd of Jan over the phone but haven't had anything in writing or heard anything since. Last contact was a couple of months ago.

The wait is finally over after sitting the MMI on Friday, got a call this morning to say that I had passed - thanks again for the invaluable posts on this forum.
I was told that January and February are full, and they are just waiting on dates for March onward.

Morning
Question for everyone what's the difference between a MMI and DMI or are they both the same?
