Sky Sports' YouTube channel described the result as an "upset". There are only four points between the two sides!
The commentary on BT was pointing out that Chelsea are closer to the bottom than the top points-wise. They’re in 4th place!
Weird isn't it?
There's a myth that the standard this year is poor. It isn't; actually there isn't a single terrible side in the league and they pretty much all take points off one another.
Surely it's competitive because the standard has been poor this season? The two Manchester clubs and the two North London clubs have under performed by their standards and Chelsea are in a period of transition.2nd to 20th is competitive. Even Liverpool matches are competitive they just seem to be able to pull a win from anything
I can see delaying the replay making quite a mess of the fixtures given that’s when the fourth round are to be played. Watford might not have fixture congestion issues, but Man Utd would. They’re still in the Carabao Cup and the Europa League, so trying to schedule in potentially two matches before the start of March when the fifth round is due to be played could be rather tricky.
Why should Watford (in particular) and Tranmere bend over backwards to ease Manchester United's fixture congestion?
I think Arteta will be good for Arsenal and he’ll get them playing better over the next few months.Wolves 1-2 Liverpool
Ridiculous, I thought Liverpool were finally going to drop points or even loose.
They have only got 10 more games to not lose until they break Arsenal's 49 game unbeaten run in the Premier League.
As an Arsenal fan I'm terrified they will, its the only thing we have left to still be cheerful about and this deeply abysmal season for Arsenal.
Although at least Arteta seems to be turning things around slowly. We actually have a style of play now. Just need to get onto the winning games part.

Just heard this, deepest sympathy to his family and friends.Alfreton Town (and former Huddersfield, Altrincham, Halifax and Chesterfield) midfielder Jordan Sinnott has died aged 25 after an incident on a night out resulted in a fractured skull.
Tranmere appear to have solved any worries that Watford might have had by the outcome of the FA Cup result.
I instantly thought of Torquay, Taunton and Basingstoke being fairly large (population wise) and not having teams in the top 4. There must be plenty of other ones too though?Just a quickie (and there's probably a thread already but I can't find one) with Bury dropping out of the league, it raises the argument of the largest town/city (population) without a 1 - 4th tier side. Unfortunately Bury can't win that one either, locally Warrington does by a few thousand, and York also, and of course Salford is now well and truly a League side so they don't count!
Anyone?
Thanks, Torquay's barely half that of Bury/Warrington though. Haven't looked the other two up. Before the "move" Milton Keynes must have been in with a shout. Here's one that's possibly arguable - Gateshead 200000+. I reckon it's a town all right, and separated from Newcastle by the Tyne, covers a large area too.I instantly thought of Torquay, Taunton and Basingstoke being fairly large (population wise) and not having teams in the top 4.
