I hear she weighed 4lb and 9oz - no news yet on the baby though :p

The media who seem to think that is a bigger story than most real news

Sky controlling all the sport

I just hate Sky in general. They always try to ram 3D down your throat every two minutes as well...

If you want to speak coffee, it all starts from espresso, which is a very intense black coffee, served in a very small cup. With a small amount of milk, it is a macchiato.
Americano is with added hot water (more what Hydro is after). Also known as a long black. But not to be confused with espresso lungo, which is brewed differently.
Cappuccino is espresso topped with frothy milk.
Latte is espresso with steamed milk added. A latte macchiato is normally milk with the espresso added.
Mocha has added chocolate.

Wiki has very good info for all of these different varieties.

And what's a coffee and cream with two sugars?

£2:50 no doubt (an absolute rip-off). Give me a cup of tea any day, preferably of the signalman's variety that you can stand a spoon up in.

Sport taking over Television schedules - a prime example was the other night when my PVR was set to record 'Dad's Army'. Instead it recorded a women's football match. Aaaaarrrrggghh. :(

Glee!

Perhaps a new topic can be dedicated to how many good songs they've butchered...

Harper Seven.

If you say it quick enough it sounds like Half Past Seven
Well Brooklyn was named after the place he was conceived. Maybe Half past Seven was named after the time she was conceived

I hate workmen who do NOT turn up after you have been told..... "they will be with you between 0900 to 1800...we cannot say when, as it is an all-day appointment"

The same for those cowboy delivery companies who give you an all day slot, don't turn up between the times they say, so you go out and return to find a card shoved through your door telling you to ring to arrange an alternative time or collect it from their depot 50 miles away... :( <(

Frustrating when you've sat around all day waiting...

I've caught them not bother delivering the package and instead simply pushing the card through without ringing the bell

The District line closing for a month.

What, is that true, already when I come to London on Saturday's it seems like half the UndergrounD is closed for "Planned engineering works", then they have the cheek to say, "Otherwise a good service is running on all other lines."!

The heat on the tube (I know not much can be done about it but this isn't the thread for rational arguments :p)

Not entirely true, although the part that is shutting for a month around High Street Kensington is going to be very inconvenient for the duration. Not sure there is ever a good service on the District line anyway!

*People who use their sexuality as an excuse to make dirty jokes or comments on normal matters!
*People who "Want to HAVE their cake, and EAT it", IE they mess me and others around, when we've already planned something, to suit THEM rather than us!
*With the above, the people I've already planned something, are manipulated into the "new" plan, and suddenly seem against our plan.
*Girls who "Blow hot and cold"...FFS, either you like me or you don't! If you like me, great, maybe we should go out, if you don't, just tell me, and we'll go our seperate ways, before it gets to the stage where it hurts!

The saying "you can't have your cake and eat it" - if you've just baked a delicious cake what else would you do with it?
