No news is good news as it so often is on here!
Wow - that's a quick invite! So someone been invited to test, earlier in thread someone was rejected, but most including me have not heard , as usual the timing etc gives no indication on the railway lol.
Might be misunderstanding you but wouldn't we be one or the other?Got a feeling the people they don't reply to won't be a rejection or an invite
Ah thanks for the update. Impressive if they are getting through the sift already.I know of a few more people receiving the Invite to Stage 1 Assessment...
Privately - as in on a course? Would they not need test you against their own standards?I've already sat my assessments privately, so I waiting to see if Arriva will make me sit these assessments again
I passed my assessments privately with DB SCHENKER a couple of weeks ago so I am
now on the national database with a standard pass and I hady MMI also. So I hope they take the standard pass and not advanced pass

Unfortunately ARL require the advanced standards pass mark, they also include supplementary assessments which are specific for ARL.I passed my assessments privately with DB SCHENKER a couple of weeks ago so I am

An ARL specific Situational Judgement Test and a ARL specific Visual Search Excercise.Which supplementary mate
An ARL specific Situational Judgement Test and a ARL specific Visual Search Excercise.
Both of these have to be completed at an ARL assessment centre, they refuse to accept the above assessments from any external sources.
Good Morning Riz,Hi, i am new to this forum. I applied around 3 weeks ago and was invited to stage one last week. It is on december 6th. Can Can anyone tell me what to expect apart from what the invitation email gives away? Also what sort of dresscode is required as this is not a interview?
Good Morning Riz,
If that was me and I was going to an assessment I would wear a suit, as they say first impressions last (you want to be and look professional) just my own opinion.
still nothing

It's a 50k+ a year job. Suited and booted dress as if you want the job! You will be remembered if you look scruffy. A lot more TOCs are switching to a shirt and tie for their drivers anyway so get used to wearing it.
They say they can take upto 4 months to reply , has anyone actually got it after 4 months ?
