Got a feeling the people they don't reply to won't be a rejection or an invite

I passed my assessments privately with DB SCHENKER a couple of weeks ago so I am
now on the national database with a standard pass and I hady MMI also. So I hope they take the standard pass and not advanced pass

Unfortunately ARL require the advanced standards pass mark, they also include supplementary assessments which are specific for ARL.

Which supplementary mate
An ARL specific Situational Judgement Test and a ARL specific Visual Search Excercise.
Both of these have to be completed at an ARL assessment centre, they refuse to accept the above assessments from any external sources.

Hi, i am new to this forum. I applied around 3 weeks ago and was invited to stage one last week. It is on december 6th. Can Can anyone tell me what to expect apart from what the invitation email gives away? Also what sort of dresscode is required as this is not a interview?

Good Morning Riz,

If that was me and I was going to an assessment I would wear a suit, as they say first impressions last (you want to be and look professional) just my own opinion.

I always say wear something comfortable but not too casual for assessment tests. As you'll find on the railway, you do what you need to do to remove performance reducing distractions. This includes you being physically comfortable to carry out your tasks.

For an interview a suit becomes necessary. The first impressions come at this point.

I find it hard to believe an assessor is going to remember you out of 10-20 people they see per sitting. Especially when it's not one on one interaction and they may do 2-3 sittings per day, 5 days a week. Not necessarily all for driving jobs.

It's a 50k+ a year job. Suited and booted dress as if you want the job! You will be remembered if you look scruffy. A lot more TOCs are switching to a shirt and tie for their drivers anyway so get used to wearing it.

Which TOCs are wearing compulsory shirt and tie ? I have only seen VTEC where is seems compulsory. GTR have the option, but it's driver's choice. LU wear polo shirts.

Maybe it can take that long I waited nearly 3 with gtr, i think it is just that some people have been rejected already and someone posted on here that they got assessments next week.
