Looks like 207/210 are still operational as 210 was out today. Maybe rotating the last units

In all the years I travelled on 314s, I don't think I've ever heard a flat on one.
Interesting that they are fitting a new pantograph considering the remaining units likely haven't too long to go.
Perhaps there may be plans to preserve 314203 given it retains one of the original coaches of a 507.
203 for Goblin work (if it were to come to fruition..)? Decent unit so it is.
I suspect 203 might last to December
Kind of ironic it’s the crash damaged one that will be one of the last to go. Would I be right in saying that’s the only one that’s suffered anything more than a shunting bump?
Thanks, forgot about the flood!208 and 212 got flooded at Glasgow Central low level upto window level if you can count that. There was also one derailed early on at Jordanhill.

Might just be a new pantograph carbon (ie the bit that makes contact with the wires) as they are relatively easy to replace and would likely be done so periodically through wear and tear anyway.
A pair of 314s had a nasty smash with a 303 in the tunnel at Bridgeton Central. I think it was 314210. The cab was badly damaged and the guard was unfortunately killed. There's a picture of it at Glasgow works, incorrectly captioned as 314203.Kind of ironic it’s the crash damaged one that will be one of the last to go. Its a full new pantograph, not just the head.
314205 worked this evening's 19.05 service from Glasgow Central - Neilston
314202+314214 worked the 19.28 service from Neilston - Glasgow Central
I think 314 201 was originally slated to be set aside for potential preservation, now it's gone I'm not sure if Angel Trains even plan to set aside a unit for preservation now.
ScotRail own the 314 fleet outright now. Seemingly part of the compensation from Angel for the HST delays. So it'll be up to ScotRail whether any get preserved I imagine.
