I have the mileages of the units thus far on the old blog.
008 nearly at 2000 miles
008 nearly at 2000 miles
Looking forward to seeing these start service on the 11/3/19.
Will this be a full stock roll out or a semi or just a few more active preview runs?
From the what I know, 3-5 on the first day, increasing to 7 by end of March, then will go up by 1/2 each week until all 21 diagrams are 717s.Won't be big bang. From what's been suggested on here, a couple of units will start working diagrams in the printed timetable. GTR will likely slip in a couple more each week assuming all is well. Some of the units have been stored off of the GN network too, so will need to be brought back and made ready.
Person on WNXX says they will send us any info for next week as they get it. I'll relay any info I get from wnxx here.I don't think we'll be seeing anymore introduced next week. They're still being night-tested this week and I might be wrong, but I'm sure any sign-off procedure will take a few days.
Thanks, but aren't the diagrams already saying 717 on them ? Just a 313 rolls up on the platform anyway.I will let you know when diagrams are sent out if any enter service on Monday.

This page no longer says March but spring.
so I guess April or May is likely
but I would not put money on it

If they cannot be used on the Mooregate line could they be fitted with toilets on used on the West coast way
Or the project is on hold as the GTR only have so many people to diagram trains and drivers and they need to concentrate on the May timetable change.Preview services haven't been pathed (yet) for next week so there is hope as these services will stop with service introduction. That page on the GN website said February until very recently, and obviously that didn't happen.

Not saying it is just there are many reasons for a the paths not being imputed
does anyone Know the status of Driver training?
Hope he is rightThe person on the WNXX forum who seems quite knowledgeable about their introduction (says he works for GTR) is still saying next week for their introduction.

Two more units moving from store Friday, 11am Cricklewood to Hornsey via St Pancras Low Level, Herne Hill Turnback Siding and St Pancras Low Level, 004 & 009 long term residents pencilled In - these two making a guest appearance at Bedford back in November last year
Do they really have to send trains as far south as Herne Hill to put them onto the GN line? I thought they could reverse at St Pancras?
I'm surprised they'd want to send anything other than an actual scheduled passenger service* through the core at all during the day, given how little margin for error there seems to be before things start going very wrong.
*Does freight go through the core at all?
Person on WNXX now says no introduction next week. This is good news from normally realible source
Oh no that's a shame I was going to look for them next SaturdayPerson on WNXX now says no introdiintro next week.
