Since Tue 23rd Jan i have made notes of the arrivals and departures from Swansea, listing all thoes opperated by the 800's. From that date i have noted the 1B94 2245. Paddington - Swansea on 19 occasions majority visually, of those 19 occasions 15 have been opperated by the 800's. So in response to your original posting #710 "Are we absolutely certain about the 1B94", i think we can assume that the 1B94 is infact a regular 800 service. As mentioned by other posters things are a bit fluid at the moment on certain 800 services with sort term notice cancellations or substitutions withr HST's due to various reasons. By the way my records show that the 1B94 was an 800 on Mon 5/2.

Anybody know about weekend workings? Do they mirror the times in #699 #704?
No. Those are SX workings. This weekend they are all over the place anyway due to the line being closed between Cardiff and Newport. Weekend diagrams are discussed here:-
www.railforums.co.uk/threads/class-800-weekend-diagrams.157053
Thanks for that. Didn't mean this weekend specifically, just in general, but I'll check out this thread.
Weekend ones taking a random date can ve unreliable due to the amount of Engineering work, so it would be best to ask late in the week prior to the weekend
My assumption is based on factual observation which help members like DanTrainMan185 who wish to observe or travel on the 800's. The diagram he was enquiring about (1B94, posting #710) has been 800 opperated for 13 out of the last 16 weekdays ( over 80% of the time), so yes, based on that evidence you can assume the 1B94 diagram is setting into a regular 800 service. This does not guarantee the service will bee 800 operated, as i stated in my post (#720) things are still fluid with these sevices and can be cancelled or substituted for HST's at short notice. But when you take into account people's past regular observations you can see patterns appearing, so members can make more of an informed decision/choice on whether to make the effort to travel on or observe booked 800 services, helped by the liklihood of these services being 800 opperated, by past trends and factual information. To save assuming, Post #704 gives the real picture. It is easy to assume because there are so many diagram changes taking place on a regular basis

Some people can handle facts. Some people on the Forum have access to inside information
See the frequently requested diagrams thread some do indeed work the Cotswold line on weekdays. What are the chances of seeing an IEP on the Cotswold line? If any what times are they?

No problem.Thanks
Thanks
They are hit and miss on the Cotswolds though, mainly due to shortage of trained drivers
I take it I need to be lucky to see one
A useful aid is http://iris2.rail.co.uk/tiger/
Select a suitable station and choose 'Staff view' which gives times, headcodes and formations (as well as cancellations!) from which it's possible to work out where the IETs are.
Which of these GWR London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads workings use class 800?
1200
1230
1300
