Go for the 90 on the 09:16Looking less likely as each day goes on that I’ll be able to travel to London in December on an 800 from Leeds!
What is it? Please give me a little more detail. Thanks you.Is the 'RAIL' magazine website correct in that basically the LNER East Midlands Trains / NL65 weekday diagrams will be the first Azuma services?
I think EMT are hoping so as I think they're wanting to increase capacity on the 19:01 out of St. Pancras - unless this is a 9 or 10-car Meridian.
Either way the extra HST will be a great help if it's returning to EMT from LNER after 3 years!
It’s not an EMT set, and like the rest of the LNER HSTs, is on lease to LNER until the end of 2019.Is the 'RAIL' magazine website correct in that basically the LNER East Midlands Trains / NL65 weekday diagrams will be the first Azuma services?

I thought Aauma runs up to Sheffield. Thanks you.
GWR just have their own seat fabric on the 802s which were specified by themselves rather than the DfT (the 802s are also painted green rather than vinyled). All IETs will arrive with stock Hitachi seats. The plans are to rip them off and replace them with the seats which were already ordered by virgin. GWR did the same.
No, there are no EMT HSTs on loan to LNER.So it'll be the on loan EMT set then
Apologies if this has already been asked, but when will we start to see HST's and some 91's coming out of service due to the arrival of 80x's?
Could be expensive and time consuming. I suppose the question is who pays.On the issue of interference with signalling by 80x's in electric mode, Rail magaine 865 p. 23 says that according to a Network Rail source,
(1) it occurs south of York as well as north, and
(2) "Hitachi has accepted that a train-borne solution is required. The plan is to design and install copper inductors under the motor vehicles, to reduce the electromagnetic currents by at least 50%. It is hoped that the first tests will be carried out in January."
On diesel or electric?800107 worked the vacant 15:03 KX-Leeds slot Monday as 5Q33.
