Broken 2500 miles now, up to 2541 this year, after a trip down south including various bits such as cable cars and Waterloo and City line. Do the cable cars count towards the rail miles? :P

What cable car is longer than a mile?
Ive been on the Emirates Aire line and will hopefilly do so again soon.
I'm not sure cable cars would benefit your score massively lol

It might cause a round up if calculated in chains when converting (or if you go on it enough...), like I do mine. I'm at 54 miles 73 chains (rounds up to 55 miles) so far this year, but over the next few weeks I can hope I will double that (that isn't that much either, but...)

When will the mileage leader-board be back up?

Been a very quiet year for the most part here, but I'm currently on 4,315 miles in 2017. Still a long way to go until the target mind!

Last month was by far my worst month on the rails since early 2015, with just 16 journeys taken, coming to 815.29 miles. Nothing major is planned for April, so I suspect next month's total could be sub 500 miles, although that depends what I come up with for my partner's birthday in a few weeks' time. As much as I'd like to do more mileage, the drive I used to have to go out on 500 mile plus journeys every weekend just isn't there anymore, and most importantly I now have a family to support as well.

I do still plan on go out and get the last five Northern units I need this year so the current fleet is cleared before the Civity units start arriving next year, but I'll more than likely be relying on tip offs rather than going out and hoping to find them by chance.

Either way, I'm up to 3,186 miles so far for 2017.

4,646 for me as of today. More than I'd expected, I travel a lot for work but I still more than I'd been anticipating!

Up to 3,240 miles so far for the year. Not a great start, but I'm off to North Wales tomorrow for an overnight trip, so hopefully that will give me a bit of a mileage boost. I plan to do a couple of days out on my week off too, but I haven't decided where just yet.

I was going to go to London next weekend, but I've decided to postpone that until the start of May instead.

I wondered about that a while ago!

After today's spin to Colwall and back, I'm now on 5,426 miles for 2017 so far. 1,426 ahead of my expected total for the end of April and I've got a trip to Liverpool on Friday to go yet!

4,226 miles from me so far this year.

Way behind my target, but these things happen.

Does anyone have Detailed mileage for the Mid Norfolk Railway? Hoe, Thuxton, Hardingham aren't included on preserved diesels.

Onto 5,726 after Friday's spin to Merseyside. No more bashing until 11th May, when I'm off to Watford.

Bluebell Railway:

East Grinstead to Sheffield Park 10m67c
Sheffield Park to Horsted Keynes 4m37c
Sheffield to Kingscote 8m50c
Kingscote to Horsted Keynes 4m13c

Not got Kingscote to East Grinsted though. Those are what I got from my moves in April 2016.

No as they're not trains/light rail! I've listed my Emirates Air Line journey in my moves book, as it formed part of a full day out, but to even consider counting them for mileage makes as much sense as counting Thames Clipper moves into my RailMiles!

5923 so far. Nearly half way through the year and I don't think I'll do the same amount in the rest of it. I think I'll come in at 8k or so if I had to guess.

3,466 Miles for me after a trip to Stoke and a few red pen moves today. On course to beat my target of 4,000 miles by a fair bit.

Thanks a lot, sorry only just seen it as haven't been looking here much due to not having been on a train since! It's a month! :o

Up to 8062 here, with regular Leeds commutes helping to keep things ticking over.

After a rough few weeks, I decided to treat myself to an All Line Rover which was fairly productive and gave me time to reflect on things. I've now calculated my mileage from that, and I'm now up to 6,504 miles for the year. I plan to add to that as much as I can now circumstances have (unfortunately) changed.

I'm still planning to do another in July, if I can afford to of course.
