It is a very weird way of referring to an out and back journey. Perhaps it is an old usage but certainly not heard of in this neck of the woods these days.A Rounder means a Round trip to Shepperton. Crease.
"Rounders" have a commonly accepted meaning on SWR, in referring to either the Kingston or Hounslow loop services.
