What do you mean? There is nothing like planning, and this is nothing like planning
Latest whispering I’ve heard is September introduction on the Leeds North West Triangle (Leeds/Skipton/Ilkley/Bradford) October for the 195s Leeds to Chester and Blackpool Nth and December on Leeds to Nottingham when they start running the connect route via Wakefield Westgate NOT Via Barnsley.
Obviously covers 195 Work too
Where do you think the 333s will move over to when the 331s enter service?Fingers crossed that this is somewhere close to the actual introduction. I wonder if initially the 331s will just straight replace the current 321/322 diagrams, or if 333s will move across to those and 331s take over from them?

They'll be taking up the 321/322 diagrams most likely since the 333s are remaining on Triangle turns. Im unsure whether a 333 will take over the 322/321 diagram on the Leeds to Doncaster line yet.Sorry I may not have been as clear as I should. What I wondering was if the 331s will take over from the 321/322 diagrams, or if the 333s would take over these 321/322 diagrams with the 331s then taking up the diagrams previously used by these 333s. Or in other words would the 331s be a direct replacement to the 321/322s, or there would be a kind of mini Triangle diagram cascade as it were.
I mean, I would expect the planning of drivers, trains etc, and communication to customers to be more advanced than not knowing two weeks awayWhat do you mean?
I'm sure that Drivers, Guards, station staff, ect know but they're not really allowed to tell people what routes they will be on (im pretty sure it's the same for the social media team too where they know the routes but they're not allowed to confirm it as they say that routes are yet to be confirmed on their Twitter). This is also an issue that @ainsworth74 pointed out a few days ago too. I myself Don't work for any TOC at all (Let alone Northern) But I think I can speculate what happens internally. In short I'm assuming that staff already know about the routes they are entering service on next but they aren't really allowed to tell passengers/customers and for all we know they could just be adding onto the fleet that run the existing services..I mean, I would expect the planning of drivers, trains etc, and communication to customers to be more advanced than not knowing two weeks away
Thanks. I thought Leeds to Donny had 3 diagramsBoth of the Leeds - Doncaster diagrams are now 331s with 331109 being in service yesterday and today
So 331109 has been added to 106, 108 110 for use on passenger service. Both of the Leeds - Doncaster diagrams are now 331s with 331109 being in service yesterday and today

Yes there is a peak only diagram which has been 331 since the outsetThanks. I thought Leeds to Donny had 3 diagrams

I hope it's the case too.I'm hoping that's the case, as my regular connection from Gusieley into Leeds in the morning is booked as a 321/322.
I've updated the opening post with what I believe are, therefore, the current diagrams for 331s. Is anyone able to confirm if this is still a 32x? It goes off to Skipton so I'm guessing it is.
Thanks for that, you’ve answered a question I was just about to ask! Both of the Leeds - Doncaster diagrams are now 331s with 331109 being in service yesterday and today
Scrub that. 322483 was on the 0759 departure from Doncaster, on arrival at Leeds this became the 08:54 to Skipton. The odd hour departures are in the hands of 331109Only one 331 out so far today, 331110 on the even hour departures from Leeds, 322483 on the odd hour departures.
Yesterday 10th August 331109 and 331110 were on Donny turns both seemed to be running okIt's not been clearly mentioned but Saturdays see at least one 331 out, or one was out two Saturdays ago (19th) anyway.
From the Cascade thread:Are there any plans to use class 331s on services via Stockport?
The west side plan for 331s is Stoke/ Hazel Grove to Blackpool, Manchester Airport to Blackpool, Hadfield and Liverpool to Blackpool. Crewe to Liverpool will be remaining as 319/323.
From the Cascade thread:
That interworks with the Crewe-Liverpool so bar a timetable change itll be whatever that is which is 323/319s still. What about Crewe to Manchester via Stockport?
Presumably 3-car 331s for Stoke to fit into the bay platform.
