158904 is the first 158/9 to go for refurbishment.
This being at LNWR Crewe, vice 158849?
Our own @507021 has a blog as to what units have been refurbished; it can be found at https://merseyrailpep507.blogspot.com/.Is there a list in here somewhere of which units have been refurbished...?

158904 I believe is being done to the same spec as 158845. The only difference will be it won’t have reservations.
Are the 158/9 fleet to work different diagrams then once all refurbs are complete?
Going to Heaton I assume?158789/867/869 have now left scotland and are currently on their way down south. They left Haymarket at 1105
Rtt shows Heaton as was the last transfer of 170s which I believe moved later to NL.Going to Heaton I assume?
Is the plan to press them in to service imminently or are they going for refurb first?
No, as far as I’m aware the Perkins units (815-859) and two unknown Cummins units will get everything including reservations and will be transferring upto the North East to work up there. The rest of the Cummins units (including the /9s) will continue to run their normal diagrams out of Leeds
So now the only Scottish units expected to head South are the two remaining 170s and the five 156s?
Northern ones are.. 158815-7, 842-5, 848-51, 53/5/9-61.158815-158862 are the 158s with Perkins engines.
Back when the /9s were ordered, WYPTE had originally wanted to order a further 10 155s but Leyland had shut the production line. If they'd got their wish, I assume they'd be Hull-bound.No, as far as I’m aware the Perkins units (815-859) and two unknown Cummins units will get everything including reservations and will be transferring upto the North East to work up there. I was mainly referencing the northern examples, but completely forgot that 860/861 also exist. That’s what happens when you’re tired!...158815-158862 are the 158s with Perkins engines.
RTT was cancelled. And - any offers on this 158 move Heaton NH.

I thought all 158s where based at NL. Perhaps there run out of siding space.
