From what I've heard, 5 full diagrams with refurbs.
Cheers, not always straightforward to work out from ScotRail's posts

So despite ScotRail not accepting any more deliveries due to the refurbs not being to standard, there are at least several out. They have a greater number of classic sets which are nothing to do with Wabtec and whose reliability is chronic. Some serious questions for ScotRail to answer about their maintenance. They have been using Wabtec as an excuse to disguise their own incompetence.Just 3 refurbs and 1 classic out today... Haymarket, as per usual, littered with a mixture of fully formed sets and some minus a power car (or 2).

As i said before, the fact that Scotrail are able to muster up a 170 to prevent a cancellation is worthy of mention.I don't think it's unreasonable for people to pass comment on an ongoing issue. It is ongoing after all.
The traction was hired in, no?...and the sleeper prior to 2015 ...
To my knowledge ScotRail haven’t maintained any locomotives since privatisation and probably before. The 37 and 47 hauled day sets they had in the 1990s ran with locos hired from Transrail and Res respectively, same with the sleepers. Under BR I think the sleepers were operated by Intercity, and any 37s were supplied by Railfreight Distribution so the last locos they maintained would probably be the 47/7s that left in about 1990.
This is to the best of my knowledge & any corrections gladly received
It's been reported by several different members that Scotrail declined to accept any more sets until the kinks were worked out. After all, why would they want to pay lease charges on assets that they could not use?Makes me think is the slowdown in deliveries by Wabtec deliberate so as to minimise embarrassment?
Think you are correct. But really after a year or more this should not be getting worse it should be an improving picture.

I know I'm beating on something that has been discussed at length, but the fact that GWR and XC have hit the ground running with their refurb sets does drive a bus through the excuse that it's Wabtec's fault. As someone pointed out previously, the power car reliability issues are likely due to most of the power cars ScotRail receiving are the examples with the quirky/less reliable (GEC?) traction motors. There should be plenty of and traction motors available to address that issue now.

How many are needed for this schedule, tweeted this morning.
Engine running but producing no traction power apparentlyWhat was the issue with the failed powercar?
Nope. Refurb Coaches have issues too. Ones I’ve been on have leaked in heavy rain and had door and toilet problems. Basically everything that’s meant to be sortedSo would it be safe to say that the refurb issues are PC based and not MkIII?

Only 4 refurb and 2 classics out now so some of those mentioned earlier will be 170 not HST.
Spotted last night in Queen Street. I think this was an 18:40 Aberdeen service?
Those vinyls produce an interesting ombre effect when they get dirty.

How are they getting so filthy? The E&G 385 fleet isn't like this!
Maybe its a case of being afraid to run it through the trainwash
It’s the vinyls thats attracting the dirt. You can clearly see that in the picture posted above. Don’t think the train wash can clean the vinyls that well.
