No-one really knows what the latest news on Breich is, but yes, I do believe it is the last one.I think that Kerse Rd Stirling, currently being rebuilt, is the last structure in that section, hence the announcement that evening and weekend closures end from the 20th.
I think they're all done also on the Shotts route except perhaps for a brief Briech?

well as of yesterday afternoon there still weren't any wires at Causewayhead or the Forth viaduct so this must refer to the other end- Polmont to Greenhills Lower finally good to go?https://twitter.com/AlexHynes/status/997715891671457792
Exactly what did the test train last night do? It appears that a Class 380 train was used as the first electric train over part of the electrified line towards Alloa.....
It appears there were several workings, starting with a 5Z90 - 01:10 Queen Street to Polmont, a return out and back (5Z91 & 5Z92) from Polmont to Cadder DPL and then 5Z93 Polmont to Eastfield CS all via Grahamston and Camelon. Timed for a Class 385.well as of yesterday afternoon there still weren't any wires at Causewayhead or the Forth viaduct so this must refer to the other end- Polmont to Greenhills Lower finally good to go?

would have been more accurate to have said the E&G's diversionary route via FKG than the route to Alloa. A bit of PR spin. All these test runs would use Carmuirs East and West. No need to use Carmuirs North and the lines towards Larbert, Stirling and Alloa.
Absolutely. The OLE system has to be safe for use. Do you know if it has been certified and accepted? The trains were the proving runs for the recently switched on power to OHL last week.
Indeed, after switch-on there are various test and approval stages ending with an ORR permission to run electric service trains and Network Rail route authorisation. This test run is one of those intermediate stages leading up to final approvals.Would need to be certified safe before the switch was thrown to make it live or there would have been a rather large flash.

380010/102 and 380111 - they did find one problem but it was sorted out on the night. A successful night then! Well done to all involved. Hopefully the full approval will be forthcoming, though when the electric passenger trains run remains to be seen!380010/102 and 380111 - they did find one problem but it was sorted out on the night.
that's what testing's for...380010/102 and 380111 - they did find one problem but it was sorted out on the night.
Actual day to day issue or a "if the tilt's failed and the train is crush loaded" type issue? It's down to an issue with a bridge at Whifflet South Junction...
