for those who did stage 2 today, what did it involve? How do you think it went?

Just at the beginning of my journey to become a driver, I wouldn't like to think I would be going through anything similar to yourself and after reading the other comments on here I've taken the initiative and started applying to other TOC'sI understand that its down to business needs within the organisation and i'm just a small fish in a pool of talent. But my life has been on hold for nearly 18 months. I haven't been on a family holiday, due to being worried about missing assessments and course start dates and turned down several promotions at work. I suppose that's just the nature of the beast. All my eggs are in the basket of being on the October course it would just be nice to have a heads up weather to keep on waiting or get on with my life.
Same hereGot an email from emr on Friday saying sometime in the summer for stage 2. Seems like I missed out on the first wave of assessment slots.
Same for me to, guess we're all in the same boat.same for me. Does that mean that the stages after that will happen in fairly quick succession or is this going to drag out past Christmas? Fortunately I can remain in my current job until June 21 but would rather push on with this but I will still need to look at alternatives, just in case!!

Remember that this is a Talent Pool vacancy with potential start dates over the next two years, so there could be a lengthy wait for an actual start date even once you’re in the pool.
It’s important to carry on with life as normal and not put it on hold.
Did you do your stage 1 on Friday 14th? If so I think all the successful candidates have been allocated summer dates for the next stage (assessment days - stage 2) although these dates have not yet been identified. It is a seemingly long process and for those of us who did the stage one on the Friday, it's going to be that bit longer.Apologies if I am being dense.
I was wondering if anyone knew how candidates are put through to stage 2. I got an email a few days after attending Derby stating I had passed, so I prepared for stage 2 in late Feb, but now have an email indicating to wait til summer.
I do also understand it is a lengthy process and have utmost respect for those who have been waiting for nearly 2 years.
Thanks in advance
Was that with EMR? Does your TOC keep you regularly updated on your chance of employment or what the future for the pool holds? Once in the pool, do they then work down a list for selecting people or do you then have to compete against everyone else in the talent pool?I went through this last year. Stage 1 in March, assessment day in July, interview in September and Stage 2 in November. Finally getting the good news that I'm in the talent pool around mid November. It's a long process, but to be fair to HR, they kept me informed via email.
I did it on the Tuesday 11th mate with no confirmed date as such - hopefully some more clarity soon.Did you do your stage 1 on Friday 14th? What was involved in Stage 2?
Its an unusual way of recruitment.
Having been in the same career for the past 23yrs, I haven't had the "option" to hop between jobs at the drop of a hat and so this is all very new to me.
Hi guy's,I have passed stage 1 assessment and have stage 2 'assessment day' coming up. I would like any information on individual and group activities also. Thanks all
Hi guy's,
What exactly does stage 1 involve if you don't mind me asking ?? Which assessments do they have.......Group Bourbon , TRP ect ??
Is that the one where you have to arrange them in size order? If so I failed that one, I missed breakfast so ate three of the biscuits and couldn't complete the test.
They look home made .....good effort
LOL, this made us chuckle. Is that the one where you have to arrange them in size order? If so I failed that one, I missed breakfast so ate three of the biscuits and couldn't complete the test.

HiHi Please note, it's Group Bourdon. Stage 1 consists of: Group Bourdon, TEA-Occ, TRP1 and TRP2.
EMR haven't put you through stage 2 yet, that's the last stage for EMRBit confused about the mention of following the same validity as the OPC. Stage 1 will go from 2 years to 5 years validity but stage 2 will remain at 2 years? Does OPC only validate stage 2 for 2 years?
I've passed stage 2 I'm in the talent pool.EMR haven't put you through stage 2 yet, that's the last stage for EMR
Hi Snape, I'm in the talent pool too and I got this email, i may be wrong but i think the reference to the OPC is a typo, I'm not certain but i think the 5 year validity is in line with the majority of other TOCs so this is what this sentence was meant to say. Could be wrong mind you.Bit confused about the mention of following the same validity as the OPC. Stage 1 will go from 2 years to 5 years validity but stage 2 will remain at 2 years? Does OPC only validate stage 2 for 2 years?
