This is the current desktop on my home PC.

my desktop has changed a lot in the 2 years since I lat posted on this thread (see first (edit: or possibly the second) page). only joking, the only change is the background (and that I'm on a much much more powerful PC). but then if you have a set up that works for you, why change it?

Currently Hayes & Harlington station, was Ancaster earlier. Windows 8 lets the desktop background randomly shuffle from pictures in a folder. I'm still getting used to the new OS.

I'm currently using my Macbook Pro, which features a photograph of a chapel wall on the island of Spinalonga, Crete - taken by me earlier this year.

I'm afraid to say that my dull response from the last time hasn't changed. PC I'm on at the moment is default Dell desktop. My work laptop is default Samsung desktop!

I have debated putting something more interesting on my work machine (since it is probably the one I use most, since at home I tend to hop around between laptop and a couple of PC's) but since I have just been evicted from my own office into the open plan one, I think it is wise to keep it non rail :P

Also - people still use Vista

Something like my first might be a go-er? To most it's just a picture of a sheep. :D Little, I think, would most people notice the ATW 158 crossing the Dovey, or, if they did, think it was just by chance that that was there when I took it :D

This is true. Though given that at the moment, no other staff (barring the odd few) can change their background, and most have blank blue or a generic OEM one, much to their annoyance, it would probably be a little unfair if I did change mine :P (myself being a domain admin and being able to do whatever :P)

How does everyone else manage to get a picture uploaded. It only seems to want a URL.

Right-click the image and copy image url. Paste it between the [img][/img] tags. Otherwise save it then upload it as an attachment. In my case I did ctrl-print screen then pasted into word then saved as a .jpg.
