Hi guys, my local station (Cheltenham) currently gets served by the Cheltenham to London Paddington service and I was just wondering if the IET’s will operate this service or if not, if they will come at all and on which service??? Thanks

The changeover of the Cheltenham’s to 9 car IET sets will start in June. The 1036, 1436 and 1633 from Cheltenham are currently planned to be the first to cut over.

Problems with the software after joining. So the workings were quickly altered and everything going to or coming from west of Bristol went as load 10 with five locked oou. Hitachi are working on a fix as it required for 2nd January.

Does that mean they will be returning to Taunton on January 2?

If possible, I would love to exactly what, if any, IET diagrams are visiting Taunton January 2 & 3.

Should be visiting Taunton on following diagrams, subject to unit availability.

NP109/116 which includes 1C22 1630 Paddington - Taunton

NP111/124 which includes 1A09 0712 Taunton - Paddington

NP115/132 which includes 1C24 1730 Paddington - Taunton and 1A37 2127 Taunton - Paddington.

So any out today on this bank holiday Monday? :)
I believe so, Mr Kite! According to RT the following diagrams:

0747 PAD - BRI 0943
1000 BRI - 1144 PAD
1227 PAD - BRI 1409
1500 BRI - PAD 1644
1727 PAD - TAU 2031
2127 TAU - PAD 0100

0830 PAD - SWA 1144
1229 SWA - PAD 1537
1557 PAD - BTM 1739
1800 BTM - PAD 1944
2033 PAD - BTM 2227

Source - Realtime Trains

(I’m more certain of the first though as it starts and returns at North Pole; the second diagram starts at North Pole and returns to Bristol)

Hope it helps
R :)

Currently sitting on 800013 (& 800017), and its been sat at Reading for the last 20 minutes. No announcements from the guard for the reason for the delay :(

Sorry to mention this but going of thread again as has been pointed out several times already including by the Mods. This isn't a diagram matter. The reason is that it should be easier to look up diagram details rather than having other matters filling up the thread.

I was on a westbound HST that drew up alongside you (should have waved ;)). Was surprised to see the Class 800 still there long after we left so I sussed something was up.

Okay, which ones are running today, and where? This might be my chance.
7 trains scheduled from North Pole IEP Depot to London Paddington today which suggests there are quite a few in use today. Unfortunately I can’t say which services but my bet is approximately half of the Bristol and South Wales services will be 800 operated ;)

I’m sorry if that isn’t very helpful but there are 800s running today :)

The diagrams are in the frequently requested diagrams thread.

Could hardly cover a 180 Diagram when there are no 180s left with GWR. Perhaps I'm pedantic, former 180 Diagram.

Looks only like one IET diagram on the Cotswolds today instead of the booked two. Other is being covered by 165112.

The 10.45 Padd-Swansea is booked an IET, and this train is booked to have a Pullman service, so do they do Pullman on both units or just one, or if they even do at all, I’m catching this early February 1st class, and might like have breakfast on it if Pullman service.
