It is, as it happens. Is the casualty loco earmarked for Scotrail/2+4 etc?

It is, as it happens.
A photo I saw on Flickr seemed to show no great signs of external damage; perhaps the damage won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be.Interesting to see how that'll play out then. Although I've no idea whether the HST fleet is at the 'no need to bother repairing casualties' stage yet, or if it remains under pressure?
Yes - it is planned for the ScotRail fleet. Is the casualty loco earmarked for Scotrail/2+4 etc?

Perhaps.
There was that 91 (forget which) that was reported on here to have essentially burned itself out initially, before word got out that it may be repaired...A photo I saw on Flickr seemed to show no great signs of external damage; perhaps the damage won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

43195 is not being repaired after its collision damage.Interesting to see how that'll play out then. Although I've no idea whether the HST fleet is at the 'no need to bother repairing casualties' stage yet, or if it remains under pressure?

As 43138 has a future lease agreed, it will probably be repaired - it is currently at Laira.
Not to mention Ufton Nervet victim 43019...would have thought southall and ladbroke grove victims 43173 and 43011 would have wielded useful spares when they were disposed of
Not to mention Ufton Nervet victim 43019...
All these accidents probably yielded a lot of Mk3 spare parts too.
43000 still exists, and is operational........imagine a few bits of 43000 are still in circulation somewhere across the fleet too. VTEC, FGW and the royal train still have the coaches...
Very unlikely. If 43138 is deemed not worth repairing then a different Angel owned power car would drop into the ScotRail fleet.as we dont know the internal damage to 138 its possible 195 may be reactivated to replace it. Not unusual a practice in itself...
246 came off the road at Liverpool South Parkway (and got me a taxi home) in October. Not sure if it's back yet.Are any of 350246 / 266 / 374 out of use?
I've seen all the rest twice in the last 4 months, but none of these ?
Maybe its luck of the draw ?
Two coaches of it still seem to be at Tyseley...246 came off the road at Liverpool South Parkway (and got me a taxi home) in October. Not sure if it's back yet.
That's because they are life expired and are for disposal. Replaced by new Rail Grinders.Does Track machines count as DR 79200 and DR 79201 haven't turned a wheel in ages both are in the carriage sidings at Rugby.
Oh that makes sense. That's because they are life expired and are for disposal. Replaced by new Rail Grinders.
321448 lives to see another day. Finally left Doncaster this morning after 13 months back in the works. Worked 5L50 back to Ilford with Renatus 321318 leading
I wonder if it will re-enter service
Unlikely to return, last I heard.Any news on the class 317 demonstrator? It seems to have been in the same spot at Ilford depot for ages!
Passes 332014 at OOC the other day, and it does seem to look ever more folorn, with its light cluster glass and surrounds now robbed.
Hopefully they'll give Northern a good deal on all the parts that'll go on the 333s...Chance of that returning to service are just about zero, especially with GWR taking over with converted 387s in the pipeline.
Just a depot Christmas tree, slowly being robbed of parts to replace parts on other members of the fleet.
