A nice 280 yesterday on a South Pennine Day Ranger.
Leeds-Man Pic-Sheffield-Leeds via Barnsley in the morning, then Leeds-Man Vic via Brighouse & back via Standedge in the afternoon + a Man Vic-Bolton rtn in between.

Very slow of late, explaining my dramatic fall from the elite (stupid Uni!). Now up to 5631 miles, with hopefully a big update coming this weekend - 7,000 perhaps?

Nice to see that this update puts me back in the Top 10 though.

I still need to add on the NWM (1st) Challenge from March!

I tried for some more earlier this Easter Hols but no trains wee going in or out of Lowestoft 'until further notice' due to a 'train failure' later corrected by 'points failure'. I was beginning to wonder how a failed train could stop all movements!

First off, I see a mistake in the above. Arena - Harrington Road is showing as 0.7mi, which sounds reasonable, but only 0.121km! At least one of these (the metric distance, naturally) is wrong here...

Anyway, an update on my mileage. Some fairly basic coverage of late, predominantly around Bristol (with runs to Birmingham, Reading and Cheltenham, among others, in as well), and I will finally hit 6,000mi later today (note the time - 03:00).

As suggested, I have finally broken the 6,000 barrier after a bit of a stall. Trips to Birmingham this coming Saturday (possibly), Exeter this coming Sunday and then a return to Southend for the May Day weekend, including a day trip into East Anglia, should push me over the 7,000 mark within two weeks.
