Hi folk's does anyone know what HST sets are out at the moment.
Cheers Nat.

Don't know it its of much use but I happened to notice that 43053 was at the head of the 12.33 Pad-Taunton today. I didn't get the rear PC unfortunately.

Are there any indications as to the diagrams when Whiteball is shut for the 4 weeks in Feb, might be the last chance of a set on a diversion

Just diverted early morning (3.45am) to have a quick look at the Hereford Sidings at Worcester Shrub Hill and 43161 is there next to a couple of Cucumbers.
Not sure what power car is at the other end as too far away.

Yes. Not much taste and minimal nutritional value. And you can get them full size or in halves!

Oh, how we laughed.....

Are there changes to the LTP diagrams on Saturday 16th February? I'm planning a trip from London to Exeter (out at 1003 ex PAD, back at 1603 ex EXD) but getting seats that don't exist in HSTs anymore (coach E or high numbers in coach L). Realise that similar questions have been asked before, but any help appreciated!

From what I have seen on RTT this is the timetable so far.Hopefully, these will be of some use

It wouldn’t shock me if the 16:03 Paddington to Penzance is one of the last to switch to IET. Quite fond of them (bar their well documented issues) but I hope once things stabilise set to diagram matching, reservations will become more stable.

It goes over on 8th April
So its still an HST at the moment, but I suppose that could change. Why I asked is because I read on RTT that 1C78 would be a HST until March, but then read that the IEP had pass test to go through divertion ( Yeovil Junction - Axminster) and was told it will be iep

It did actually come out before Christmas to rescue a set from Exeter, but issues were found and it went back in for more work.

RTT doesn’t show what the booked traction is, it shows what the timing load is. Where it says HST - 125mph, that could be an HST or IET or any other stock that’s capable of those timings.

IEP was the DFT’s Intercity Express Programme to procure replacement trains for the HST & IC225 fleets.
The Trains are from the Hitachi AT300 family, Class 80x. Known as IETs on the Western, Azuma on the East Coast.

“Which train do you need to take?”

“Oh, I need to be on the 10.22 programme from London Paddington!”

Sounds a bit silly doesn’t it?

Cheers Patrick, that's good as the only Power car that's worth worrying about there is 43069 as that is off lease.

Just the say (my own opinion) Plymouth is PLY in the Station code not PYM as that could be confusing to other members.

Cheers Nat ;).

There’s more than that both in service and stopped. 43172 is on a G exam for a start.
