EC354 and EC459.Any idea which diagrams I may catch a 385 out of QS this week?
Pffft cable theft to add to the 385s shortcomings [/humor]Is this the set which should have been delivered last week but was cancelled because of cable theft?
EC354 and EC459.
Any specific departures from QS?
EC354 and EC459.
xx00 and xx15 from Queen Street most hours.
Who is going to maintain East Coast current stock, Neville Hill?An important milestone this weekend as Craigentinny offically transferred to Hitachi. (along with Bounds Green).
I'd have thought Hitachi, at the existing depots, under contract to LNER. The depots still have the same people and equipment; being officially handed over to Hitachi will I presume allow them to start on works to prepare them for the new stock, to train staff about the new stock and to indoctrinate them into the company culture of their new organisation.Who is going to maintain East Coast current stock, Neville Hill?

Just departed
Looks like another ‘fault’ with a 385 this morning delaying it at Falkirk High, 8:27 service from Polmont never appeared.
The 10:15 from Queen St was a 385 but the gangway between the two units was closed for some reason - it was a late arrival so I guess the resident hitachi fitter didn’t have time to look at it.I've seen a few 380s on the line today - presumably drafted in once again to deal with this new issue?
The screens appear to be about the same size as the the other gangwayed units - the 365s are much bigger and certainly the clarity is better.I was at Queen Street this morning and noted people with Hitachi jackets looking at a unit (107). I also noticed how utterly tiny the destination board is on the front. The appearance is lightweight and cheap to my eye.
Does everyone forget the far more serious issues with the 355 and 380 introductions?
I had a look at this tonight - the "g" is perfectly formed with 2 more spare lines of LEDs below it. Maybe you saw a faulty one.Adding to that, the destination screen on the side of each car isn't even deep enough to fully display the "g" in Glasgow. Looks like "Glasqow" - and quite cheap with it as you say.
