Really?
Obviously you don't give up that easily - along with various other people who are keen on them - which then actively annoys those who aren't that bothered.
Well its been a long time in coming, as i decided to not look back at this thread.
However, I said 'I give up' to a different quote to the one i then answered.
So yes, I really did give up.
As for not being allowed to answer questions posed by people. Well.
Someone is asking questions, I answer, and I get accused of keeping on.
Whats the point.
Anyway, hope all you nae sayers enjoyed the Olympics.
As for Lord Coe ramming it down everybodies throats. I suppose you all missed the bit where he admitted 50% wont be interested in it.
Thankyou Lord Coe, you did us proud. Now to ignore the nae sayers.

Ok, so I'm an old grump. But:
- most of the music chosen was distinctly second rate;
- not a single performer (well, perhaps Eric Idle) performed well
- the overall "show" was confused, and lacked any sort of structure
OK, so the golden oldies are just that, but, if they can't sing any more, don't make them; if the younger performers can't sing or move, pick someone who can. For heaven's sake, this was meant to be a celebration of hundreds of young people who had just given us two weeks of superb efforts. The least the entertainment industry could do was give a professional performance (I'm looking at you, Mr Gallacher)
First part of the show was boring, with music that was average at best. What the hell were One Direction doing there? All they are good for is splitting up marriages. Waterloo Sunset was murdered as well.
Only really good bit was the set, and the lighting.
Liked the bit with the athletes filling the stadium, but could have been slightly better. Instead of playing 'Our House' for the 2nd time, they should have played 'We are the Champions'.
The massive concert improved things, and the layout of the stage was good in the shape of the flag. But some of the music was awful. Spice Girls should never have been there. They were worse than normal, and I always thought that was impossible. Not to sure on Russell Brand either. An average at best comedian.
It definitely picked up towards the end though.
