Journey check would agree.
I went to get my training on HA25 but there was a fault with the crew egress and we coudn't get in, then all the DOLs started to flash to we had to abandon it.Correct. We, as drivers, still need a brief/practical conversion to a 'Inter7City' refurbished set though - I believe it takes about 2hrs? Not sure about the Guards, I'd imagine they will need more. Have you had this yet? I think it's being organised for us Inverness drivers soon, as we have HA24 to train on now.

Oh fair play! Figured you had worked for other companiesAhh well,i was counting in total from British Rail, EWS and it's forebears & Virgin WC!! Just 34 and a bit years worth.![]()
What they were saying is that the diagram was originally booked for traction they signed, but when the platform display read "This service has 3 carriages" that immediately set off alarm bells since they obviously don't sign any 3 car trains!
Indeed it is.Think the 1255 Inverness to Waverley sounded suspiciously like a 2 car 158 when it passed my house...![]()
Door Open Lights?

Without out wanting to go too off to topic. The Scotrail HST are having a full refit. Are the GWR and XC units more or less just having the doors, toilets and any other PRM mods done?
A refurbished set was on the 05:48 Aberdeen to Edinburgh this morning. Passed it at Montrose around 06:25The 06:40 from Aberdeen to Glasgow and 09:39 return were most definitely an HST today.
Also, one of the refurbished sets was on the 13:12 Aberdeen to Edinburgh.
If you do your initial training (drivers) on a refurb set, do you have to then do a further conversion onto the classics or will the refurb training cover everything needed for both types?
Well a fairly rare treat today got another run out on the refurb, run number five since mid October. Having been the slam door a couple of days back you notice the difference in station dwell times.
Four more coaches are en route from Potters in Ely to Wabtec http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/O94643/2019/03/28/advanced
