Can't of happened. Must of been a Purple class 170 (EMR livery)
As far as I'm aware, 101 & 104 from recent sightings over the past week are still in Chiltern livery.
102 I haven't seen in awhile and 103 is apparently in Doncaster.
102 is still about. I worked it twice last week

Only rumours, but apparently it will be first one to repainted, not sure how true though.
Yeah guess we’ll have to wait and see - would’ve thought it would be at Ilford not Donny though

It went to Donny for Wabtec to do some repairs to it, related to the engine/coolant systems (let's put it this way, the diesel and coolant was mistaken during filling up, doing a bit of damage)
Oops - Looking forward to seeing it back once Doncaster have finished with it :D

A quick question, does anyone know if 172008 or 172341 are currently out of action. Haven’t saw them in service for awhile.

Many thanks :D
Any updates on 172341, I saw it on Tyseley depot a couple of weeks ago, Just wondering if it's been back in traffic yet? :D

Thanks in Advance

For anyone who interested. There is only one 170 left in WMR branding. (170505)

170501 ran up to Crewe for repaint this morning.

Can anyone confirm which 323 has been named 'Shenstone' please, possibly 323215? 323242 is now 'Alvechurch'

They are the only named ones to the best of my understanding, so we agree perfectly.

Are the 323s that are being named the ones that are staying with WMT?
No. They all getting done.

I think it’s more of a farewell tribute to them on the cross city

323221, Still has its BTP vinyls apart from where the new toilet was fitted. Seen today but wrong side for name.

Also 323243 named Longbridge and 203 Aston.

That should leave Lichfield TV (strictly a LNW station), Four Oaks, Chester Rd, Gravelly Hill, University, Kings Norton and Birmingham New St. Of course, Soho LMD itself could also be officially named.

Perhaps I am being obsessive but I would have tied the names in geographical and number order. Technically New Street is also not a WMR station either.

The 25 units (not including Dave) are being named specifically after each Cross City Line station - given this and that Soho LMD vinyl plaques are on all 26 units, I don’t see that happening.
